I have 2 hours to get everything done and I could just sit hear chatting all day. The gloomy, chilly weather fits my blechy blah mood. On a bright note, I had a wonderful breakfast with DD this morning.

I cannot beleave the exchange rate right now, I don't think it has ever been this low. We were in trail yesterday and I was getting 5%, not even worth it in my op. It just means more spending money for you. I bought DH 9 bags of "old dutch" popcorn twists. 2 boxes od pasterys. Then spent the day with my cuz who has been teaching in England the last three years. It was so nice. She has to head back to McKenzie today thoe, We might head over to my DB's house to talk Disney stuff.

Slow yard sale day. The kids did make $6 selling some stuff so they were happy. My mom made a few hundred combined so she is happy too. lol She may just keep the stuff out and do one next Saturday since she has it all in the garage.

I have to decide if I am going to apply to substitute at the school this year so I can do it tomorrow. I am looking at it as DCL money. DH would have to take care of Dina though or mom, so I am not sure yet.

I saw that on the Home and Garden Channel on a yard makeover and the contractor sang it's praises not only for the play area but also for the regular flower beds.

Carolyn, that is what we plan to get at the school for the playgrounds...but it costs ALOT of money compared to wood mulch. It will last longer though so in the long run it ends up saving money. You don't need as much of it either.

It does cost more, but you do save in the long run. We have spent so much already because the weeds get horrendous and it turns to dirt so quickly! I am just concerned that we won't like it so much. DH wants the solid rubber stuff, but talk about cost!!!

I just booked the Radisson for $109/night on Dec 8th so I guess that is where we are going to stay for sure the night before. I am glad I waited because this way I saved $30-40 dollars.

OMG Lisa! While there is nothing remotely funny about having kidney stones, your DH having them during YOUR pregnancy made me chuckle. It is very common to get them during pregnancy so your DH getting them instead is kinda cute. KWIM? I can't think of what that is called.....

Oh yes! It was great. He was drugged and I had to take care of him & DS. My ILs came down to help for the weekend and were going to leave Sunday but DS asked GP to stay one more night. He knew what was going to happen somehow. I woke up at 11:30 with contractions & DH took me to the hospital. They ended up staying another day.

Is anyone else going Lisa? I so want to go, but I am not sure with it being the holiday weekend. I can make a decision by Tues or Wed. Karen? Kristina? Brandi?

Kristina was going to meet us somewhere. I think that we are going to stay the night with friends in Fburg VA and then go to KD one day. DH has a ticket left and the kids have never been. We will stay there on Sunday night & drive home Monday....with the rest of the country.

I was helping DH finish packing things up & then had to take the kids to CCD. DD didn't want to go & was crying again so instead of coming home for an hour I sat and talked to the parents of another girl in her class who did the same thing. They kept coming out to get water & use the bathroom....really just checking to make sure that we were still out there. She told me that she liked the class though so in two weeks when they go back it shouldn't be a problem.

Dina is really getting into playing with water anymore. She wants to pour herself "tea" etc, but keeps taking it into the living room.

I just re-read my above post......I don't wait until the weekend to shower! We are way out west, but we are civilized enough that we shower daily.

Most of us wouldn't think twice about that. IDK many moms who get to enjoy a shower every day.
