12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 4

You will all be happy to know that DD snagged a fish! She is so proud of herself, she keeps going to the freezer to look at it. DH and I were sweating bullets because there is a time limit and it's hard! But our little non aggressive just followed those little fishys around until she flipped one out of the pool. I have pictures. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

No...this afternoon. DS had a fit and it took both DH & I to calm him down. We ended up going out to dinner with a GC that we had. DS was best pals with DH again.

I took DS to his classmates 5th birthday party at the Little Gym.

I think he had a really good time. He spent an hour just running off a lot of energy. I did see him push at least one kid and I saw him cutting in line a lot. I guess just more things we need to work on.

The birthday girl is a very girly-girl and I think I might have caught a glimpse of my future. She loved the Disney princesses and had an Ariel cake. She got one gift with princess jewlery and she was just thrilled.

Where did you go out for dinner? I made a chicken dish that we all really like and everyone ate really well. I am sitting here wishing I could dig into the leftovers but I am trying so hard to be good. I even turned down the cake, ice cream, chips, etc.. at the party today. I just stood there with my little Diet Coke.

He is 3/4 right? That was the worst age for waiting in line. You want to talk crazy? DS would only go in the ride cars with the number 4 when he was 4. If someone got in that one before him down on the ground he went throwing a fit. OY BOY OY BOY OY BOY! I finally got him to do better and if we were not the first ones in line, we would let other kids go ahead of us so that we would be the first ones for the next round. That took many trips to BG to teach though.

He turned 4 in May. I kept thinking that things should be better by now. I mean the terrible 2's being behind us and all..... How naive was I?
