They didn't show Danielle drunk before ringing the bell constantly. They also didn't show that she woke up the entire house & that it happened around 1:30 am. OY BOY! She was talking to the camera appologizing to her DH & kids. She has really gone over the edge.

Yes Kim, all are happy and healthy now, thanks. Sorry for the confusion...the couple in the story are my mom and stepdad, and the son in the story is me (I'm a photog for the paper).

Sophia has school open house and meet the teacher tomorrow night, then we have convocation for our school staff (and I have to speak as Board President).

On Sunday, we are having a ribbon cutting for our new High School, and I have to speak again. BTW - our local Congressman has arranged for the Secretary of Education to attend our ribbon cutting and speak too . . . good thing that it is not Rod Paige anymore - I may have opted to not be on stage (He's the one who compared the National Teacher's Union to a terrorist organization). I don't know enough about Spellings yet to feel that way - but she does work for the man who pushed for NCLB!

My apologies. I have not been keeping up on the DIS manifest. My fault entirely! What an experience you must have had. It seems so surreal about just walking in and saying hi to your parents. Were they in shock?

Actually no... They handled everything really well. The only shock was seeing me (because I was supposed to be on vacation at Hilton Head). They thought that maybe another relative would show up to help. I just got there first.

All communications were down along the coast. I had a cell phone, on the way back, we found areas where the cells worked, so we let everyone know they were ok.

Wow, I knew it would be Dani you were refering too as losing it, but I kinda get where it came from. Erika, I feel so badly for her. She already doesn't seem like a very stable person and I just hope she can get through what she will be feeling when she actually SEES what CT did to her. They are brillient masterminds, touche to that, but Erika will be hard pressed to get over it IMHO. Dani handled it wrong by not talking with her BEFORE she got drunk, but I totally see where she was coming from. I just don't get why Erika cares if she can beat Dani or not. Who can she beat???? That is what Dani should have told her. Erika made a big mistake as did many others not getting rid of at least 1 one CT.

As for late dining, it worked much better than early for us. In Sept. we had late seating, I believe 8:15, and we liked it fine. In January, I switched to early so we could eat the same time as friends, but 5:45 was just too early. It seemed we were rushing all night from 5 on! We had no problems with DD3 in late, but with early, she was very sleepy during the shows.

they usually give you a credit or book you on a later flight. Sorry! I did however, get full refunds on my flights to New Orleans 2 weeks after the hurricane hit..

Kim - When we went to 1900 for breakfast, DH fell in love with it and wanted to know why we didn't stay there! Since it was September and basically empty, we were able to go to MK from there as well and the short ferry ride was great! DH also fell in love with the Beach Club when we ate there.

We really liked the beach club! We stayed in the beach club villas and had plenty of room and a GREAT POOL! But it took so long to get anywhere and DD is used to Disneyland where everything is right there.

I can't remember who said it, but someone on this board talked about not staying in places that were like where they lived. We live a 1 minute walk from a canyon and are surrounded by national forest land. I loved the whispering canyon restaurant and the hotel was beautiful, but I can stay in lodges like that any day of the year or pitch a tent in my backyard, so I understand not wanting the rustic approach. I also don't like southwest themed hotels. They make me crazy for the same reason. Oh my, but give me the beach club, or the polynesian or something like that and I love it! The GF seems like a lot of hotels we stay in for work conferences, but I was only there for that one thing.... It is very pretty though! I tried to read up on the board about it but everyone only talks about the concierge level hotel rooms and i can only imagine what those are costing per night.... I hope those snooty people have really big credit card limits... We will have fun though because we are together. can I just tell you how much I love my little family!

We actually live at the beach. But DH isn't into wood. He likes the "nicer things in life" although we are far from that! It does make it nice for the cruise though because he loves balconies! Almost every place in Egypt has a balcony!

Totally psycho!!! OMG! She lost it. The stare when she was put up for eviction...OMG!

Just watched it and I'm really disappointed that they didn't show how crazy she got! There was even a part after she blew up at Erika, while Erika was upstairs with Will, Dani was still outside and she was smiling totally evil like. And they also cut out the whole part where Dani talked to George and Janelle after waking up the whole house. She was in the backyard with them for about an hour screaming about Erika. She completely lost it!
