Does anyone know if there is a Goofy candy shop on the ship in the gift shop?

I wish they did Bibbity Bobbity or Club Libby Lu type stuff on the ship - it would be fun.

elaine

They will have a smallish selection of Goofy candies at the bar by the Walt Disney Theatre.

Pj

We have always been so stuffed by "free" :lmao: stuff that we never got around to buying candy.

You don't need to thaw it out? I didn't know that!!!! That would make it easier because I just can't think about what to have for dinner the next night. How many hours did it cook?

I always throw my roast in the crock pot frozen also (unless I've just bought it). Whenever I tend to lay something out to thaw my dinner plans get all screwed up and I never end up making it in time. I love that I can throw food in frozen.

It usually takes about 8 hours for my roasts to finish.

I just got the funniest video clip in an email. IDK how to post it here so I emailed it to all of you. Even the guys will like this one. :lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: That commercial was great! :happytv:

I have to get out of here and run some errands so that I don't fall asleep again!!!

oh man - what's going on???

they cant come close to showing all the good stuff on the tv shows

I'm sure they'll show the juiciest stuff tonight. A lot of what happened the other night can easily be summed up in the show. I just hope they don't try to "sugar coat" the whole thing in editing to make the "crazy person" seem innocent. I just don't trust them the way they edit the people in the house.

:lmao: The only way they can edit that person's actions out is to not show them at all during the hour show. :lmao:

My kids start school tomorrow. I have to get my schedule back on track, I've been staying up way too late lately. First step to getting to sleep earlier each night- I cancelled my BB feeds. :rotfl2: All the action starts so late that I never get to bed on time, so now I'll have no excuse. ;)

I finally convinced my husband that it will be fun to dress up for pirates night. pirate: I have a costume for my DH and DS. Now I need to find plus size costumes for me and DD. If anyone has ideas, please let me know.

BTW I have a childs red & white striped shirt, a small captain pirates hat, and a cheap plastic pirate belt. It is made for a small child maybe 6-8. If anyone is interested in it for their child, let me know as mmccarthy2@cinci.rr.com. I can mail it to you if you like.

The kids are really getting excited

When I picked DS up at preschool he came running over and gave me a hug and said "I missed you and had chocolate milk." It was sweet and funny. I saw him first and he looked a little scared when all of the adults started to pour into the room. When he saw me his little face lit up! He didn't cry at all and he had a great time. I am happy he likes it. I just hope it stays that way!!!! :Pinkbounc

Lisa - If I am scheduled to have Palo brunch at 10:30 in the room with Kim, do I still need to reserve it on the 10th?

I need to :donald: :donald: :donald: before Friday. I will be at the OBX and not get home until Sept. 9th. Thanks.

From last weeks annual allergist appt. DD is 47 3/4 inches. She SO want to ride RnR. She's wondering whether she will grow tat last 1/4 by Thursday. :)
We were talking en route to camp this morning about the fact that her cousin got to ride it when he was 5! Of course that was with me and I had not ridden it yet and I knew enough not to do ToT but not RnR. When I look at DD's height at almost 6 1/2 and his at 9 1/2 it puts his height into perspective. He's a tall kid. He looks 11 1/2 probably. Of course he acts like a 9 1/2 year old.

I feel like such an outcast not getting with the group for brunch :(

But I'll book for 4 if I can and maybe my dad and his gf will join us.

I printed out Nav's today and am going to go over them tonight. Gosh they are so hard to read. I really liked the other ones!

Yes, just to make sure. She wont find out until the 30 day mark if she got her request. If we get it, we can keep the resies for the number of extra people who wanted to be added to the group. We can request that they be seated outside of the room. :)

Go out and get some sneakers with THICK soles. :) That's what everyone else does. ;)

Vanessa, I am going to try to add people if we get the room using some of the existing resies. I will have my clipboard with everyone's resie numbers so I can get us linked up & the extra people seated next to the room so that we can still visit. :)

We are also not with the group but we are going to do brunch on Thursday because we want Palo dinner on Monday night. I can't imagine trying to do both brunch and dinner in the same day.

Anyone else doing brunch on Thursday?

I just sprinkle the packet on top of the roast and I'll pour in just a little bit of water in the bottom so the roast doesn't stick, probably less than 1/4 cup. The trick is not to lift the lid while it's cooking otherwise a lot of the heat escapes and can dry out the meat.

Really? The lid is the key ???? NEVER KNEW THAT!!!!
