I do this all the time and post while I am catching up, but I love to read the thread when someone is doing it. It is classic! Thanks DSharpe!

Kim

haha -
i used to read them all, :happytv: and try to post in one big message, but it just got to be too much for my feeble brain!! :lmao: so now, I just reply, reply, reply...glad it's not too annoying!! :rotfl2:

Great shot of the ship in COZ, Todd. It's causing some disney dreaming here. :sunny:

Todd, I'm also getting excited about "talk like a pirate day" (Sept. 19th) pirate: Like most people don't think I'm weird already :lmao:

I heard that there were a few pounds/kilos shedding cruisers. Count me in. heh heh. I am starting to need two seats on the plane......almost.

And Brack.....Do you have your 5D yet? It would solve Lisa's problem with the
4 X 6 pics. Ahhhh! The good old 35 mm format in a Digital SLR. I can't wait.
Bless you Canon. Hmmmmm? Maybe DW would let me step up a notch to the 7,000 dollar model.......NOT !!!!! When do we go shopping?? A must have for the Cruise. Right??? I guess I could just borrrow yours. ROTFLOL. Okay, I can use my phone camera. It does video too.:rotfl2:

Now to check for typos. Or would that be keyboardos??

Oooooh. The voices just gave me a new stupid joke. What do you have for breakfast when you are on the DIS board ? POST TOASTIES.

Do they still make that stuff? Wokka Wokka Wokka!

I don't do well with e-bay. I have had two very bad experiences there and so I stopped trying... Maybe I just got unlucky with two very bad sellers...

Kim

I started ebaying (buy and sell) years ago before it got to be such a huge marketplace....now, I don't really sell because there are 100's of auctions (1000's even) of the things I'm usually truing to sell...so I just pack it all up and take the tax write off...

I would love that job! It is fairly routine layout work, but I did that as editor of both HS and College yearbooks

Yeah, another geek catagory...Both DW and I are yearbook staff geeks! :teeth:

My DH's birthday is 12/13 and when he was a child everyone wrapped his stuff in Christmas paper!!!!
I know what you mean....my birthday is 12/14 and my brother's is 12/12, and when we were young, people would give us one gift to share for birthday and xmas. As a child I thought that was so unfair.:guilty: As an adult I guess now I can see the financial aspect (instead of four lesser gifts-one nice gift :) )

By the way there was a local story in the paper about a family with two sets of twins who were born on the same date (6 or so years apart). Can you imagine having four children with the same birthday!

I forgot to say Good Morning DISsers! SO Good Morning everybody!!! pixiedust:

Must be the effects of the paint fumes. I did use a toxic spray for orange peel finish. DW and I spent yesterday redoing the Master bathroom. We even used primer before we painted. Yeah!!! New lights, new mirror, new paint, new wall cabinet. Well, the mirror, cabinet, lights aren't done yet, but the paint is dry. As our DD would say, Woo Hoo!

Hmmmmm. DW isn't lurking over my shoulder. I better take her temperature.
I suppose I should break out the laptop so she doesn't go into withdrawal. AND, I better get busy with the BR work. I can finish it up today. YES !!!! Then I can get some rest.
It's been good talking to ya! Later, DrHug

ITA. I use to buy at the clearance sales for the next year but then people started listing things at rediculously low starting bids & they were selling for less than the 75% off that I had paid. I started donating to the school carnival for prizes and toys for tots that year. I refuse to have inflated shipping costs to avoid fees like these people do.

Mine is 12/20, my brother is 1/10. Our parents, to prevent fighting, we would get simmular toys for christmas. Although I would sometimes get mine for my birthday and by brother would get his Christmas, and visa versa. Early Christmas.

Elizabeth, the dancing mickey banana I found would not blow up enough, but I guess he could be a hidden DMB.

Angie, I think it is lovely that you and Dr. Hug are attached at the hip. DH and I work together, so our only alone time is driving seperate cars to work. Yes we drive seperatley. I need some me time with my music.....

Kim
We were able to work together at times thru the years also. When we did we even had breaks and lunch together. We don't work together now, but are really looking forward to retirement. We were just talking about how much we are looking forward to every day together.

Kim, have you been to Cozumel before? There are armed guards there like I had never seen before. I was glad that someone in the DIS group had mentioned them because I would have worried something was wrong.
We had an exchange student from Mexico living with us. He told us that people with guns are all over the city (guards). DH and I didn't really believe him until we went to Coz!!!!!

I think I am missing some kind of mother gene when it comes to Gymboree. I just don't really even like the clothes there that much. :duck: About the only "name brand" I do is Old Navy but usually only clearance stuff.
I love Gymboree!!! I never buy name brand for myself. I buy most of my kids clothing from Gap, Gymbo, or Old Navy. Sometimes I find stuff elsewhere but I do like the stuff. My DD has an adorable dress from Gymbo that has ice cream cones and popsicles all over it...I love it! My DS has their tropical stuff from this past summer. It is $$$ but I buy on clearance, with gymbucks, with Gap rewards, and then I resell and often make most if not all or more back with Ebay.
