I know what you mean....my birthday is 12/14 and my brother's is 12/12, and when we were young, people would give us one gift to share for birthday and xmas. As a child I thought that was so unfair.klineyqueen said:My DH's birthday is 12/13 and when he was a child everyone wrapped his stuff in Christmas paper!!!!

Angie - you sound like Alice in wonderland...or the dunkin donuts guy! (sorry, i'm hungry - no offense!)
DSharpe said:I started ebaying (buy and sell) years ago before it got to be such a huge marketplace....now, I don't really sell because there are 100's of auctions (1000's even) of the things I'm usually truing to sell...so I just pack it all up and take the tax write off...

)
By the way there was a local story in the paper about a family with two sets of twins who were born on the same date (6 or so years apart). Can you imagine having four children with the same birthday!![]()

We were able to work together at times thru the years also. When we did we even had breaks and lunch together. We don't work together now, but are really looking forward to retirement. We were just talking about how much we are looking forward to every day together.kimerinc said:Angie, I think it is lovely that you and Dr. Hug are attached at the hip. DH and I work together, so our only alone time is driving seperate cars to work. Yes we drive seperatley. I need some me time with my music.....

We had an exchange student from Mexico living with us. He told us that people with guns are all over the city (guards). DH and I didn't really believe him until we went to Coz!!!!!lbgraves said:Kim, have you been to Cozumel before? There are armed guards there like I had never seen before. I was glad that someone in the DIS group had mentioned them because I would have worried something was wrong.
DrHug said:Now to check for typos. Or would that be keyboardos??
Oooooh. The voices just gave me a new stupid joke. What do you have for breakfast when you are on the DIS board ? POST TOASTIES.![]()
Do they still make that stuff? Wokka Wokka Wokka!
I love Gymboree!!! I never buy name brand for myself. I buy most of my kids clothing from Gap, Gymbo, or Old Navy. Sometimes I find stuff elsewhere but I do like the stuff. My DD has an adorable dress from Gymbo that has ice cream cones and popsicles all over it...I love it! My DS has their tropical stuff from this past summer. It is $$$ but I buy on clearance, with gymbucks, with Gap rewards, and then I resell and often make most if not all or more back with Ebay.becka said:I think I am missing some kind of mother gene when it comes to Gymboree. I just don't really even like the clothes there that much.About the only "name brand" I do is Old Navy but usually only clearance stuff.
