Ok, I have a question...

We're arriving in Florida on thursday morning before the cruise, flying in on a red eye. So I figure we'll be too tired to do much that day. Friday we want to do Disney World. DD is dying to see AK, I'm dying to see MK. Do you think we could do both in one day? :confused3 I know we won't be able to ride much. I believe there are only about 2-3 things DD and DS want to ride at AK and I am happy as long as I get to ride the POTC and Haunted Mansion. So is it possible? This is our first trip to WDW.

OK, I found it. I usually just edit the site & it doesn't show up for that. Hmmm...I can't find where that information is. ????? How do I change it?

Well, you could get a one day hopper pass & do that. Start with AK. Also, MK closes early that day for the Christmas Party. You could go to that but you will have to buy a seperate ticket...IDK if they are sold out already.

Lisa, I used to see Eastern on the site, but never remembered to mention it. Now when I go there I don't see it. Bizarre.

It shows up on the top bar & the bottom bar. I can't find it anywhere on the site so I can't change it. Don't look!!! We are going on the DD cruise! ;)

Yeah, we are planning to get the park hopper and I noticed that Epcot has extended hours that day after MK closes so we could hop over to Epcot after MK closes. I'm just wondering if we'll be too crunched for time to really enjoy the parks?

On our first trip we had one day in MK. We didn't get to do everything & we were there for EE until close at 11 pm. We don't hop parks or take breaks to go to the room in the middle of the day...so I can't really give you an opinion on how that would work. I can tell you why we wouldn't...you will have to get from one park to another. I know that you can take the monorail from MK to Epcot & back to catch a bus to your resort. DNK about AK...it's not on the monorail so you would probably need to find the bus from your resort to AK & then find the one that goes to MK. One time when we took the day off we had to take the bus to DTD to get on another one that went where we wanted to go. ??? It will be a little more challenging to use FPs on some of the rides since you wont be there all day. Last year when we went with John's family, the times for the FPs were alot later in the day. We didn't really get to do alot in MK that day compared to when we start out at 8 am & go the entire time.

We seem to be in the minority who don't hop, however, so someone here or on the resorts board should be able to help you plan things out. :)

Lisa, I see it where it is when I view the source code. Can the program you use allow you to view & edit the source code? It's in title \title brackets.

You know, I go to work, (and I am still here) and I realize I have to stop and read all the posts or I won't be caught up tonight. There has got to be some kind of explaination for my behavior....

Caroline :rotfl2: pirate: :rotfl2: about John in the banana suit talking to himselft!

RealMickey Don't feel bad about a pirate: post. That's one of those frivolous things that is totally fun, and I seriously hope, hurts no ones feelings

Becka Becka Becka. You have bananas on the brain. I do however really enjoy the tomato. He doesn't move a lot and kind of just sits there...

Lisa I wrote in my "reading 10 pages notes" Yes you did! I don't really remember why I wrote that, but I hope it makes sense.

John Excatly what image are you wanting to promote with the uehm banana

Angie Welcome Back. I was jealous! You have a lot of reading to do!

Tynkerbel What is the REAS Package?

Lisa (again) Is there anything you don't do. I mean obviously you cook, are computer literate, handle plumbing and construction projects, create a website, organize vacations, create logo's and yes, you can do iron ons...
And I must say, I think linking this group into 2 dining reservations must be one of those things you can put in the guiness book...

On the upgrade. I called DCL today, they are special aren't they, and asked them if they could tell me where I was on the waitlist. She gave me the whole story about how waitlist works, and then said she cannot see the list. So, I asked her if there was anything available in cat 1 or 2 and she said, " I would never see that because nothing would be available because someone on the waitlist would take it". SOOOO helpful!

I am going to notarize some divorce stuff now. I really don't like doing those. Then off to a DD Ice skating lesson...

Kim

UGH!!! :( I just got in touch with DH. He is just now getting ready to leave the base to come home. He is an hour away for meetings today. So much for plans. :( The salad has been scrapped because I am NOT taking the kids to the store right now. There is shrimp scampi & plain shrimp. I am thawing that out to add to the scampi mixture. ;) Next week I am getting the sitter to watch the kids for a couple hours one day so that I can do my shopping in half the time & be able to not be so stressed in the store.

Romantic Escape At Sea... one of the perks of it is that you get to do your ressies at 105 days out. Which was a big selling point for me since it's our first cruise and would've had to wait until 75 days out to book otherwise.

The package also includes-
Romantic gift amenity delivered to your stateroom (one per package)
Tropical Rain Forest pass for two at the Vista Spa & Salon (length of cruise)
Priority Seating at Palo with a bottle of wine from the Premium Wine List (one night)
Romance turndown service (one night)
Champagne breakfast in bed (one morning)

I have been also thinking that we should get Lisa a big tag for her shirt that says.... I am in charge of the lime green DIS group, they are crazy, please do what I say.... that way all the CM's will give her all the love she needs...

Did you buy that online after you booked the cruise or with the cruise? And do you know what the romantic gift amenity is? (Please do not say it is a plastic banana)

Kim

LOL, nope, DCL does not provide the banana.

The gift is a basket with 2 robes, box of chocolates, an 8x10 silver frame and supposedly a voucher for a free 8x10 photo.

We booked it after we paid off the cruise. I think you have to be paid in full to be able to book it. It can be added on up to 90 days before you sail from what I understand. We had to go through our TA to add it.

A button would last the entire cruise! :rotfl: Karen, were you the one looking into the buttons?

I hope to get through the cruise booklet tonight!
