My Computer Mouse is acting up. It is doing all kinds of crazy things. I never had it give me a problem before. It is automatically highlighting text and not letting me click. I don't know what happened but it is really starting to Tick me off! :furious: :badpc: I keep getting a circle with a slash through it. Man I hope I don't have some sort of computer virus.

I gave my presentation today. It went very well. Now I hope I get an A. I have a 4.0 GPA so far in my masters program. I really want it to stay that way. I am a bit of an over achiever

Brandi, I am sure it did! And did anyone here ever think she might be an overachiever? :rotfl2:

Kim

My DH worked from 7 AM until 3:30 PM. He then came home for supper. He left for work again at 5:30 and hopes to be home at 3:00 AM. He also has to go in tomorrow. He usually doesn't have such crazy shifts but they are really busy and they had a night job. He said he would do it to make some extra cruise money. I am so accustomed to him being home that it feels weird at night to not have him here! I could be up late.....it gives me lots of computer time! :thumbsup2

Whew,

I am starting to know how a marathoner feels . . .

I had such a terrible day at the office, that there was almost no way I could justify checking in during the day. I've got one of those real head banging headaches going too . . .

I don't know what the weather is like where you all are, but the Midwest is like a SAUNA. HOT, HUMID, and darn uncomfortable. Took the dog for our 2 mile walk with Sophia on the bike in the early evening, and I was dripping with sweat by the time we got back and had to take a shower.

On the healthcare issue, Kim, that issue is killing our company. We are union, and have healthcare that we pay an arm and a leg for. Of course now, we are competing with WalMart, that provides squat benefits, and we carry the load for them with our taxes and our benefits. And then we have to compete with them! It has been a tough, tough several years for a company that has been in this community for over 75 years.

As far as the reunions - Bah! We never have any - a long story. I don't have many friends from that era of my life anyway. My BF from HS decided to get involved in drugs, and while I was a geek, I was NOT a follower. He was a brilliant guy that fried his mind like that commercial they used to have with the eggs.

BTW, I vote for  to be the "OFFICIAL" mascot of the 12/9/06 cruisers. He should be our emblem, and our patron saint, and we should promote his image proudly!

John

I think I am going to make a countdown to MICKEY for the kids. I will make a large mickey head. Then I will make smaller heads with numbers from 1 - 25. Each day they will take a number off of the big head. When we get to the last number it will time to go on our vacation. I figure I can make it and then use it for our other disney trips.

John, it was so hot here today...103 or so with the humidity...that when I pushed the on button for the cruise control in the explorer I rubbed the black rubber off of it. What a mess! The cover had melted! :(

You guys can have 9400 - I've been up since 5:00 and I'veWe've got to get to bed.

Did I tell you I was a Gemini (Who'd a thunk that?)

BTW PJ - not at all kidding about this, but we LOVED watching curling during the Olympics. People thought I was nuts, but I thought it was cool! :thumbsup2

G'Night!

Good job Brandi. I knew you could do it in spite of us! :wizard:

Here you go, John....

We are having the hottest day of the year so far. Tomorrow we have a heat advisory in effect for our area. It is going to reach a hundred with high humidity. The Schuylkill County Fair is this week. I wanted to go tomorrow evening but I am afraid Eliza will melt! She is a sweaty little baby. She is always hot! I usually take the kids in our little pool after dinner in the evening. I hate worrying about sunburning the baby and little man. It is so much easier when the sun is going down. The water tomorrow will probably be a million degrees!!!

John, sounds like we should have a chat. Your healthcare discussion was like listening to myself.

Now, as for the banana.....

John, curling is a real work out, well at least for the members of the team that aren't yelling at the end of the ice. I was a lead, my job was to set up guards, then sweep for the other curlers, lots of work. Loved it! I bowl with friends in a league, but I am thinking of getting back into curling soon.

John - would you dress like a banana and dance at the sail away party?
