I spent the afternoon running 25 feet of cat 6 cable from the internet router in the basement. It is in the drop ceiling and run up through the air vent next to computer upstairs. Looks great, wasn't real hard but it was about TWO FEET SHORT!

I am not happy at all. Now I'll have to go to Bestbuy and pick up a hub for an extension or buy the 50 foot cable and rerun it. I think I'm going for the hub!

Best laid plans of mice and men ......

Have you ever had one of those "DUH" experiences?

I went to Bestbuy after church to get the hub and cable. I had the $40 hub in hand and went for the cable. At the stand for the cables was this "in-line coupler" like those used for telephone cable but for network cable for $9.00.

DUH!!!!

I put the hub back, then bought the cable and coupler. Now I am at full speed!

No, it wouldn't all fit. This is printing out on a regular sized piece of paper 8 1/2 x 11 I think.

The last two cruises I would set the alarm for about 3AM to call room service. I would order two oatmeal raisin cookies and a pot of coffee. YUMMMM!

The Disney Visa Meet and Greet is a special thing for cardholders. You get a free 5X7 and an "exclusive" (for all other cardholders) meet and greet with 2 characters. We have never seen another soul there. So that's what it is.

Since Lisa had Chinese the other night I have been craving it so DH is going to pick some up on his way home! Yummy!

I am getting some Hunan Chicken, pork fried rice and crab rangoon with lots of hot mustard. I can taste it now....

Speaking of Chinese I know they have an Oriental buffet one day on the Magic. Is it any good? How about the other lunch buffets? Are they only at Topsiders or is the same buffet in PC?

The oriental buffet is amazing!!! Well...the chef who fixes your lunch right there is. We always prefer the chef making the fresh dishes to the buffet items. It was on our Palo day last cruise...so Monday. Yes, it is the same in PC & Topsiders.

OY!!! I forgot about that. You should be able to make Palo & other resies at the 105 day mark since it is paid in full. FWIW...if I were you, I would call DCL & just tell them that you know you have a TA but you want to confirm with them that your final payment was received by then. They should be able to confirm that.

When you go to checkin online...or if you fill out your docs they send...you will need to give them a CC to charge to your KTTW card.

Just reread your post...the Italian buffet is really nice too. Honestly, last cruise except for embarkation lunch & Palo brunch I ate at Goofy's Galley. Panini sandwiches, fresh fruit, & pasta.

Lisa - I knew you were a fan of the Panini sandwiches. I am sure we will eat by the pool some but I thought it might be nice to at least check out 1-2 of the buffets as well.

LOL! The kids just played in the pools so it was easiest to just get lunch there. A couple times John & my DH went thru Topsiders then Amy & I went thru. We ate at a table near the pool where we could still keep an eye on the kids. The three of them are big enough in the 18 inches of water to not really worry about anymore...as long as it isn't super crowded. The kids just ate tenders or hotdogs on the lounge chair inbetween swimming. We did PC alot on our first cruise because it was easier to get the kids to sit & eat...further from the action on deck 9 if that makes sense. PC is much calmer too since you are seated first then go get the food. Last time we just decided to go with the flow more but that worked on our first 2 cruises.

I am being all serious today. It is odd, but I have another question. I noticed today that I cannot make early reservations for salon or any of the really cool spa treatments. Is this correct?

Becka - The only reason I said DW had super powers with her dress making people disappear was I posted this picture on one of the formal wear threads and some a** says " wow there was 3 other people in the picture " refering I assume to my wifes dress that I guess has the twins showing a little Making the rest of us "disappear"

Ok, I breezed through this in the morning, and have been thinking all day that those two boys do not even look close to the same age . . .

Sophie wants to take the dog for a walk, so see you later . . .

BTW Becka, the buffets are probably my least favorite part of the meals on the magic - I've not really cared for the oriental, or the Italian, and I don't care for seafood. Maybe if I tried what Lisa did it would be OK, but the offerings on the buffet table itself were not that appetizing to me. Pluto's or Pinnochio's were OK by me!
