One of the kids in the new Disney movie with Tim Allen about superheroes, Kevin Nash the wrestler and the guy who wrote the book on the Haunted Mansion movie.

We were on our last cruise when they taped the two episodes of According to Jim. We saw Jim Belushi (sp.) and the whole cast. They had a guest star and it was Ingo Radamacher (sp.)...he is Jax on General Hospital.
During the Mexicalifragilistic Deck Party Jim Belushi and Brad Paisley performed!!!! It was so awesome! Brad is married to one of the people from According to Jim.

That cruise was over the time when the Eagles played to make it to the super bowl. You could not see the game in the staterooms. We were all in the bars and the actors were all drinking beer and watching the playoff game!! It was so amazing! Ingo was standing in front of me and for a moment blocked my view of the TV...I was getting all excited. My DH asked me what was wrong and then said "Should I ask that guy to get out of the way!!!" UUUHHHH NO! He had no idea who he was!

I got an accidental when I was asking about the chat room Friday night (but then had to go back and edit to celebrate!)

The funny thing about having all of those famous people was that once on board they said that if we don't swamp them we will see them out and about all of the time. I can honestly say that people really didn't harass them. They were seen doing all of the things that the rest of us do..spa, pool, dinner, you name it! They were really treated like the rest of us! They just had to do taping and filming...

I don't quite know how to word this and I am sorry because I am probably going to offend someone but I just have to get this out.

I just read Lisa's e-mail and after having the kind of weekend I had it was probably the last thing I needed to read because I have had a really rough day. I know no one dares question the powers that be here on the boards (I have been here long enough to see what happens to those who do... ) so I guess if I *poof* I warned myself.

I cannot believe someone got upset over something this silly. It is obviously just things being said in fun and anyone who did not get that is probably related to the person who thinks flip flops are appropriate formal attire (see I knew I would offend at least one person). Are we not allowed to make comments about our favorite baseball team being #1 and looking for silly ways to "prove" it for fear of hurting someone's feelings? If I post that I think the St. Louis Cardinals are the #1 team in baseball will a Cubs fan go crying to the mods? I mean really what is the point?

I always said that if I really felt like the DIS stopped being fun then I would just stop posting. I normally don't let things bother me but I am having a hard time being scolded for something like this. I come here (to this thread in particular) to have fun and be silly and to get useful vacation information. If I feel like I can't let my hair down and be silly without offending people then maybe this is not the place for me right now. I don't want to "post on eggshells" for worrying about offending someone.

I am not YAGE -ing because they annoy me (unless I get *poofed* then I guess I will be). I am sure I will be back (if allowed) but maybe I just need to take a break from posting and get some perspective.

I usually don't watch that show...but I did watch that episode!!! My mom and dad love that show and they were also on the cruise. My mom loves the guy who plays the brother. We were sitting up on deck 10 one night and he was out walking alone. He stopped at our table for no aparent reason. Then my mom asked for a picture with him. He was very kind and gave her a hug and a picture! I thought she was going to die! It was that he even stopped. My mom must have been giving him googly eyes
