Hi everyone.

Just sittng here thinking how great it would be if we could all meet at Palo for dinner tonight.

Well, I can dream can't I?

We have sooooo much to do around here, and I just don't see how I can get started, since it seems overwhelming.
Re-roof the pump house
Mow the pastures
Clean out the barn
finish the downstairs door trim
Pack all of the 'stuff'
Paint
Finish up the deck railing
Clean out garage and paint inside and redo garage floor
redo bathrooms
Landscaping work
redo kitchen
new lighting
clean up debris from 3 black walnut trees that were cut and sold

Lisa, you are an inspiration to me. We CAN do it.
And that's just for this weekend.......

I am trying to cut back to 3 days per week. Hopefully we can make it okay on those hours, and I will have some time to get the place sale ready. I am asking 860,000 for it now, but if I put more $ into it I can maybe jack the price up a little. The market is in a slump though, so that worries me. Oh well, will help.

Can hardly wait to see you all in Dec and May. Sooner too, if we can.

Hey everyone!
We had our neighborhood block party yesterday... so much fun! Moonbounce, burgers, dogs, salads, chips, soft pretzels, cookies, brownies, a frozen daiquiri/margarita machine, kegs of beer and birch beer, face painting, hand-designed T-shirts... and of course, good friends and good neighbors!

Sounds like a great time to me. Wow. You really do a good job of it. That is awesome.

I am really hoping this week will be a little better than last week. Thankfully the weekend went pretty well so I got a chance to rest for just a little while. I think that always helps.

Becka, 1gb will be good until you want to be doing at something like creative suite and internet, and word, and, and, and..... For doing e-mail, word, internet, music and smaller programs all at once, you will be good.
Sadly no, there isn't a media card reader it is one thing that I also would love on my mac, but it is fine with the camera cable for now. Or I can grab a card reader for under $15.

Hi PJ,

I love my little card reader. It is even faster than the one built into my HP printer. My Canon printer doesn't have one, but I can use the small one for the laptop and the desktop. It is handier than a built in that way. It works very well.

I tried to shoot from an angle that wouldn't be affected by the flash, but it still reflected a bit at the top. Now, if I can just figure out how to make one for veerybody. Hmmmmmmmmm. All I really need is a lot of 13 x 19 photo paper.

Is the band problem because they have to also do Marching Band? My DS loved band (Music Major in College) but hated marching band!

If she just wants to play her horn I can talk to the Officer in Frederick about practicing with their band. Does she play a brass instrument?

Speaking of bands, and such, is anyone a Drum Corps Nut, or fan? I was just wondering. I played French Horn for about 14 years, from 4th grade through the Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. Did Marching, Concert, and Orchestra. Gave it up for VietNam. Horn was more fun.

It would be going a lot better if Alex and I had not just attended a SHELLACKING of the Browns by the Steelers. If anything could go wrong in a football game for a team, it happened for the Browns today.

The Steelers played a good game Marielle. It was so depressing . . .

Bought a new toy recently. It's a WACOM tablet pen. I use it with Photoshop to work on details in my photos.

It would be going a lot better if Alex and I had not just attended a SHELLACKING of the Browns by the Steelers. If anything could go wrong in a football game for a team, it happened for the Browns today.

The Steelers played a good game Marielle. It was so depressing . . .

Uh oh. John, My wish for you this year will be some good luck for your teams. We have yet to see if SC is really number 1. I hate it when they are in that position. Everyone is out to knock you out of the running. They haven't been challenged yet. I don't really have a fav in the NFL. I root for the Seahawks because DD has a hawk tatoo on her ankle. If she likes them so much then I better like them too.

Anyway, good luck to the Buckeyes this year.

We're driving to Atlanta tonight (at least Annette is). We just spent 6 days at WDW with out DS. BTW .... we love Wilderness Lodge Villas!

We spend four days in Atlanta and then drive back to WDW for two days.

It's been really good but just hot/humid. I really like the Pirate & Princess Party but the BEST was the Segway tour that my DS and I took. I'll post pix later.
