Hi Dennis! I hope you are feeling better. Angie told us all about your BP causing you problems. I hope you have found the right combination of meds, diet and rest that is helping. Maybe you can get your doctor to prescribe you a cruise each month and get insurance to pay for it.

It has been a busy morning around the Easton house. I got up and cleaned the living room, vacuumed, etc.. I then made lunch for DH and the kids (just sandwiches and chips), got ribs in the oven for dinner, prepped green beans and baked beans for dinner and made a banana bread for breakfast tomorrow. I figured it was time to stop and reward myself with some DIS time.

Wow is it ever pouring down rain here. We had a yard sale on Fri and Sat and just covered everything with tarps, so we could pack up today. I looked out about 15 minutes ago and one of the tarps had come undone, so I went out and hooked it back up. Then, about 5 minutes later, it started POURING DOWN. Wow. Thank God for that little voice that had me look out. AND it wasn't the little voice of ANgie because she is downtown.
I cannot figure out how that tarp came undone, unless a late buyer came along and took a peek. Angie said we had a couple of Early buyers. One on Wednesday, two days early, and two people on Thursday, one day early. They offered to just go through our boxes of stuff. What nerve. What gall. What jerks. LOL. I wasn't home, but was at work, or I would have sent them on their way immediately. ANgie is more polite though, even though I consider myself polite most of the time. LOL.

My BP is okay today I think. It is sure puzzling. It doesn't respond to the meds the way it should. I think it is Cruise related though. You are right. I think a Cruise a month is warranted. And I think you should come along to calclate the kinetics of my medication doses. I could do that, but that would be treating myself, and I shouldn't do that. Maybe I should call my insurance to see if it's coverd. LOL.

Angie just got back from and grocery shopping. I was good and helped carry in the groceries.

Church, then to Lowe's for replacement lightbulbs for the landscape lights and topsoil, Old Navy for some half-off summer clothes for kids, and the grocery store (just needed a few things, then $110 later, we're out). Laundry, deck furniture scrubbing (I smell like bleach!) and now I'm taking a break! We have a dinner to attend tonight so I'll have to miss watching the College World Series.

Boy. The Boards have 86'd me three times so far. Maybe I am an unsavory character? LOL.

I get to help my DD with her Advanced College Algebra class. How cool is that?
I thought you would be excited to hear that. I know I'll be lovin' it. I may have to call on you for help though. Hope that's okay. I did help her a little for her final last term. She got a 99/100. So now I can take all of the credit for that, right..? JUST KIDDING....LOL. I didn't really help her as much as she thinks.
It will be a good review for me. Who knows. It may help me hen I am driving the motor home. LOL.

How about those Beavers? I can't believe they are so good. I was hoping the Trojans would start reliving their glory days of years gone by, but no such luck. Good luck on the game today. And no, I am not gloating about the Beavs. I am not 'rooting' for anyone in particular right now. May the best team win.

I know! They put in a Pooh Honey Bucket ride in its place a few years ago. DS is still mad! However, if you turn around in your homey bucket and look back up over your shoulder, there is one point where you can still see Buff and the other two (sorry to my son I can't think of their names right now-but I'm old so it's ok) hanging on the wall.

My DS would be thrilled with the Pooh ride!!! HE LOVES that ride at the MK.

Eliza throwing a fit. I don't know which park....it happened more than one time. Most people would look at me like "Horrible Mother." Someone actually said "I can't believe that lady doesn't love her kid, I can't believe she would let her have a fit."

I just ignored her and thought "It is because I love my kid that I let her have a fit." We ignore Eliza when she has a tantrum. We certainly are not trying to raise a brat! If that makes me a bad mom...then I guess I am a bad mom.

We went to the local church today for the first time in awhile. For lunch we went with an Officer couple on staff with us. It was nice to get to know them a little better.

We used the new GPS unit (even though we knew the way) Annette still does not quite trust it. She didn't like the fact that it didn't "know" we were in a large parking lot.

Today was our VBS closing Program. It went Very well. The kids were awesome!!! I personally am glad it is over!!!!
