Another trip to the doc today for us. We still have not been able to get his BP under control. We went to a nursing BP check on Tues and the doc did not like what he heard from her, so they called and we went back to see him today. So, increasing Lisinopril to the max dose, decreasing the Atenolol as his heart rate has been as low as 45 and irregular on occasion. We go back at the end of July to see the nurse again and get blood work to make sure the high dose of Lisinopril is not doing kidney damage. OY!

Just saw some news coverage of the shuttle launch today... and they mentioned the last launch was 6 months ago... yeah, I remember that.

And if Brandi and Brack are still in Florida, they were around for both launches!

well we are here. everyone overslept except me - I didn't sleep at all!I am waiting for DD to crash. The weather is cool. Let's put it this way - we did not pull off our jackets when we got into the jetway. It's I think low 60/high 50s. DD is not pleased that she can't swim.

Hey, I'm here at the Residence Inn. Never saw Caroline's family on the plane. DD and I kept looking and looking. I'll have to go back and see what happened.

We got to the airport about 12:45. No line at Southwest check-in, and a reasonable (maybe 10 minutes, if that) security line... not sure if it got worse later on. We had time to eat airport food; then they started boarding very early; probably before 2 pm. We were the only pre-boarders (kid under age 4). Sat in the second row.

Six months ago . . . enjoy the memories and the nostalgia . . .

Thank you all for the prayers. Dennis is getting really frustrated. He has given inservices on hypertension, he knows what to do, just nothing seems to be working. Very puzzling for him and his doc. Luckily he has a doc that is interested and patient. He was reassuring today saying we will just have to keep trying different med combinations until we find one that works.

But at least for this morning, i am a "purple" shirt.

Abby and i are doing a dog walk in the park (benefits the Humane Society).

I donated enough that i got a t-***t and at least to wear it this morning.

i miss you guys. I'm just really down today for alot of reasons.

Happy 6 Month DIS Geek Anniversary!!!!​

I am still in my pajamas (I am up with the kids while DH sleeps in ) but when I get dressed later I will definitely wear lime green in honor of our 6th month anniversary. To think that 6 months ago I was so nervous my stomach was a mess. We ate breakfast at the McDonalds across the street from the Radisson that morning while the kids played in the play center there to burn off some energy.
