Hi Dennis . . .

It would be going a lot better if Alex and I had not just attended a SHELLACKING of the Browns by the Steelers. If anything could go wrong in a football game for a team, it happened for the Browns today.

The Steelers played a good game Marielle. It was so depressing . . .

I didn't get to see it here at all, so I missed out. I saw the score and read an article, but couldn't tell if it was more of a Browns mess or Steeler success.

Not to take anything away from the Steelers, but there was a great deal of Browns mess. On the first posession, the punter they had to sign when our punter had a bad back this week, fumbled the snap, then kicked the ball about 20 yards, and there were FOUR penalties on the Browns on the play.

The Steelers first two posessions started inside the 25.

Our starting QB, Charlie Frye, was sacked FIVE times, and he did not even play the whole first half! He had decent protection, but just would not get rid of the ball with guys breathing down his neck.

Big Ben looked good.

It was hard to stomach the Steelers fans in our stadium. There were and awful lot.

It started raining hard then at the end of the third quarter to add insult to injury, so we left. Earliest I have EVER left a game.

Well, at least the Indians won 6-2 on National TV, and expanded their lead to 6 games on the Tigers.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful monday. I enjoyed my birthday yesterday. I had a break from the kids over the weekend on Saturday. Sunday we had a picnic at our church and then I finished the autograph books from our August trip. They turned out wonderfully!

I am so tired tonight!

John, the new nanos showed up at the store today, I like them a lot. So did the Apple reps, but most of the store staff didn't like them, oh well! Carla, the purple shuffle showed today as well, I really like the colour, I will be strong, lol.

I need to see them before I can judge - they just look funny to me. I really like my slim little nano, and I'm not sure an 8gb nano is really a viable video platform. It would be neat though for kids to put just a bit of video on.

My nano is my carry with me anywhere iPod. I use it when I walk the dog, and just put what I really want to listen to today on it. One thing made me mad . . . I LOVED my iPod nano lanyard, and it does NOT fit the 2nd generation nano. My first generation Nano is the one that went through the washer. Why don't they make that lanyard anymore?

It was PERFECT for walking.

I know the 2nd gen has had several cases made that have a landyard, we have one called the Loop. Cheap and it seems to work, not the same as the lanyard but...

I got those glasses from WDW that have the etched mickey heads and an etched mickey head drink shaker. I also got a hot shot for my classroom. I got some Bazzill Scrapbook paper and my MIL gave me cash!

I was spoiled...but I did not get the new iPod!

I finally got to see baby Nathan. He is such the cute little peanut!!!! I just love those little ones....especially when I don't have to get up with them at night!!!!

My DH was home from work when his boss called him. They had an emergency bridge to shut down. I don't really know all of the details but he said he should be home around 9:30 - 10:00.

The poor guy never ever stays up past 10:00 except during football season. he went to bed around midnight last night. He could barely get up this morning...then he ended up working from 7 this morning until....well....he is still there!

I just heard a story on a tech podcast I listen to that the FIOS installers somewhere caught a house on fire when trying to do an installation!

I don't know what that is, but I sure wish we could get something other than dial up!!

Sure has been Angie! FIOS is a new fiber optic internet service.
