Not as much fun without any competition...![]()
I can't wait. I am also very disappointed with the dining plan for '08. The fact that the gratuity was included made it so worthwhile for us.
I have to tell you guys a funny thing Jake did to his dad this week.
I must lead in the story. As you know we are going to disney on Friday. We have never eaten in the castle. This trip will be our first time. I am very excited. This is something I have wanted to do since I was a little girl. I was 14 on my first trip and silently disappointed that we did not eat there. I have been getting the kids hyped about eating there since I scored my ADR. Anyway....here is the funny thing.
We let Jake play at his swingset and mulched play area when Jason cuts grass in the back yard. He was "cutting weeds" (Major drought and all our grass is dead...but those darn weeds keep growing). Jake started to wave both of his hands over his head (like the "I'm Drowning" sign). Jason stopped the tractor and turned it off. Jake came running over and said in his most excited voice while jumping up and down "WE ARE EATING IN THE CASTLE." Jason just laughed and agreed. Sent him back to playing and finished the weed trim.
I thought it was so cute. One of my friends told me "you have warped your children." but I know you guys would understand.
I am 95% packed. We leave when Jason gets home today. We are staying in Philadelphia tonight and fly out tomorrow.
Guess who is throwing up...Jake! I am not kidding, everytime we go away he gets sick! We have literally never gone to Disney without him throwing up at least 1 time!
I am seriously thinking the kid gets some kind of travel anxiety. He has zero fever, he hasn't been around anyone who has been sick, and.
He started last night and was up several times. This morning he woke up asking for breakfast and milk. he got dry toast and a bit of water. I have been giving him an ounce of water every 15 min. I told him he needs to keep that down.
He is now up and playing like normal.
This seriously stesses me out!![]()

There were trees down, and lots of damage all around us, but no one was hurt, and no twisters actually touched down.
Okay so I am now going to bed. It's 3:53A. I was on my way back from the Apple Store at 2:26A when Carl called asking "Where are you" Uhm he sounded a little peeved. I replied "The Apple Store" (I mean like where else would I be?!) He said "THe Apple Store is open?!"
Uhm yeah, it's Tax Free weekend. They closed at 10P and reopened at midnight. Now I have done this (maybe not this late) the past couple of years. How can he not process that is what I would be doing?! Some people do the Black Sunday thing - I do tax free Apple Store. I wanted to go to Crate and Barrel and finally get new plates. I'm tired of the ones we got when we got married. Now I think I'll just go to bed and sleep in tomorrow - or rather today!
Did I purchase anything - mac mini to replace Isabella's eMAC. My excuse since it won't be able to handle some of the iLive '08 features and since the macmini is now dual core.
mmmm Lisa...when the people come to visit... Do not mention how bad the schools are...Wouldn't want that getting out.![]()
Hey Marielle - I see you over on SP.![]()
I was reading tha cruise thread and I saw your name and I thought that seemed familiar. Then I saw what cruise you were on and I was. Then I looked at your picture and page and thought "Hey it's Marielle".

Doesn't sound good.It hasn't changed through Dec 07 has it?
Today when I went to visit and pick up DS from his sleepover, we did a walk of the neighborhood peaking in windows....of the new homes for sale. It is a really nice neighborhood and they all have 3 BRs with FROGs so the kid's toys could go up there along with the sleeper sofa. I loved the big yards and the streets are set up like ours with the main feeder road and the streets off of it with cau de sacs...sidewalks and great places for bike and scooter riding...both things that my kids have always loved doing. John & Amy it is about 5 minutes down the road from HT going towards JAX on 17 so still a great location AND we would be in the right district.I am trying not to get too excited about it...haven't talked to Mike about it yet. Hey there Sweetheart! Are you catching up on the DIS today?
