What a life! :cloud9:

DISing, waiting for chat and listening to DISRadio on my TiVo. :woohoo:

It's flower time! I took these two during our trip to Vermont:

And these greeted us when we got back home (they almost reach Walt's window on the second floor!)

Great photos! :thumbsup2

One of our cul de sac neighbors has tall sun flowers in their yard.

Marielle, awesome shots!

I just figured out how to get to super micro on the s3, so sad had to find it on the DIS photo boards, lol.

iWork Family was picked up Wednesday and iLife family was picked up Thursday. Hmmm what should I get on Tax Free weekend?~;)

iLife and iWork arrived today . . . I am such a geek . . . Can't wait to mess around more with the new iPhoto, iMovie, and my new 10gb of storage on .Mac!

Great pictures Brack and Marielle!

I would like to have one of those tablets too!

I love the extra storage on .mac! The new 24" arrived at the store and we set it up, love love love the keyboard. When the wireless version arrives I will get one. I am thinking about getting the new ilife, we'll see, I want to play with iweb and iphoto at the store.

So far, I really like the new iPhoto. I like the "events" feature! I really want to play with iMovie - but I have not been much of a video shooter. The other problem is disk space. I have lots of external space, but my internal drive is getting jammed up again!

I have never had iWork, but decided to take the plunge. Do I need it - NO. I just HATE MS Office on the intel Macbook running under Rosetta. Too slow! Now I can ditch MS Office!

Now John you will know the secret of my awesome newsletters last year, lol. I did all of them in Pages.

Aha!

Pages does look pretty cool.

Sophia wanted to stay up with me, and is "playing" her guitar in during commercials of taped Mythbusters. Very discordant, but what can a daddy say when she is so proud of her "playing"?

We have had rain, rain, rain, and humidity for the last two weeks. What was once straw grass is now lush and green. Only 67 degrees when I took the dog for a walk tonight, but you could cut the air with a knife!

Last night, when I left the office at 5:00, it was the first time I was a bit scared of the weather. The clouds were really weird, and I swear I saw rotation in the cloud pattern. As I was walking to my car, Amy called me and told me there was a tornado warning - I jumped in the car, and got the heck out of there - you could have heard a pin drop - all the birds and everything was silent. Amy was at a stairwell at her office.

This is a picture that was taken by a the wife of someone who works with Amy . . .

There were trees down, and lots of damage all around us, but no one was hurt, and no twisters actually touched down.

Oh - MY - HEAD! That is SO scary looking.

Okay so I am now going to bed. It's 3:53A. I was on my way back from the Apple Store at 2:26A when Carl called asking "Where are you" Uhm he sounded a little peeved. I replied "The Apple Store" (I mean like where else would I be?!) He said "THe Apple Store is open?!"

Uhm yeah, it's Tax Free weekend. They closed at 10P and reopened at midnight. Now I have done this (maybe not this late) the past couple of years. How can he not process that is what I would be doing?! Some people do the Black Sunday thing - I do tax free Apple Store. I wanted to go to Crate and Barrel and finally get new plates. I'm tired of the ones we got when we got married. Now I think I'll just go to bed and sleep in tomorrow - or rather today!

Did I purchase anything - mac mini to replace Isabella's eMAC. My excuse since it won't be able to handle some of the iLive '08 features and since the macmini is now dual core.

I wish we had tax free weekends here . . . well, maybe NOT!
