Thanks Brandi!

The rest of our week is TODAY . . .:sad2:

We check out tomorrow morning to drive home . . .

We needed you here to mix up some of those famous outer-banks drinks!

Getting ready to leave for my morning stroll - last one.

John and Lisa,

Nice pictures. Glad to see everyone relaxing and having a good time.:thumbsup2

John have a safe trip home....

Mike

It comes and goes - tonight I got it back, so I am taking advantage.

Glad you got safely home Lisa . . .

Were they out of milkshakes tonight?:rotfl2:

We didn't even try that last night, John. The kids snacked on Capris Suns and gummy worms on the way home. I think that we avoided the busy traffic for the most part and Mike got home about 15 minutes after we did.

:woohoo: One of my favorite restaurants! :thumbsup2 We have stood in that line many times before but it is well worth the wait. I love the view out the back of the restaurant.

I'm glad that you all are having a good time. The pictures are great and Annette says she wants to go back because of them. :goodvibes

Be sure to let us know when you come down here next time! :goodvibes

John, I hope that the weather holds out for you guys today! We are going to see Ratatoui with one of William's pals from school. He just moved and got a Wii so I am sure the boys will be tryign tha out for a bit after the movie.

Thanks Brandi!

I wish I were there to mix drinks too!!! I make some awesome drinks!!!!

Enjoy your last day. I will admit I am a bit bummed that we are not going to OBX this year. We did Disney in June and will be again in August.

We are going next year...without a doubt!!!!

We are actually thinking of going over Christmas week. We think it would be fun to hang out and play cards with our friends while we hear the waves crashing...We know we can't swim...but it would still be fun.

Hi Guys. I know you will be able to help me. I just searched all over the WDW site. I have an annual pass. We want to do the Pirate and Princess party on Aug. 15. What would my savings be if I got the tickets there that night???? I know the advanced price is $110. the day of is $131. But what would it be with my AP the day of???? BTW, those are total for my family...not per person...sorry to confuse you. 2adults 1 child...Liza is still a baby.

Brandi, there is no day of discount with AP for the events now. You have to buy in advance for the AP and DVC discounts, but the savings is based on day of pricing. I guess in Advance could be the day before at GS though. That is the way it reads for the MNSSHP and MVMCP discounts, I could be wrong, as I won't get to be at Pirate and Princess, which sounds so cool, as I haven't looked into that discount.

Brandi all the dates for the P&P are at the same price as the advance purchase for the Halloween special rate, I wonder if they don't have a discount. I will also check on the AP site at home and see if I can ferret any links out for you. I love finding stuff on the web.

Brandi when I went via the DVC link for special event tickets all dates had the pricing below.
"DVC or Passholder Advance Purchase Savings Price for select nights only(including taxes):
Adult (age 10+) $38.29
Child (age 3-9) $31.90"

Other pricing is as below
Gate Price (including taxes):

Adult (age 10+) $48.94
Child (age 3-9) $42.55

Gate Pricing subject to availability, many nights will sell out in advance.

Advance Purchase Savings Price (including taxes):
Adult (age 10+) $41.49
Child (age 3-9) $35.10

Tickets must be purchased at least 1 day prior to event.
Advance savings available all event nights.~ thought this was interesting.

Then I read this....

Passholders can purchase for themselves and up to 3 Guests
DVC Members can purchase for themselves and up to 5 Guests
Specially priced tickets must be purchased in ADVANCE and are not
available on-site or on the day of the event. All Passholder tickets and
DVC Tickets must be picked up at Will Call to validate discount.

Discounted dates include: 8/15, 8/21, and 8/28.

Going to bed Geeks. Long drive tomorrow.

Something else for those of you who will be there in December . . . I was listening to the DIS unplugged podcast today, and heard about something that I thought may be neat.

Would anyone be up for a Wishes or Illuminations cruise after dinner at Boma ? From what I heard, the boat can carry about 10, and costs about $250 - so around $25/each. I could not find specific info on Disney.com about it - may have to call for more info.

We currently have 13 for dinner - and I know others are there with other groups, and some may be getting ready for their cruise on Saturday. Let me know what you guys think.

He failed to say "Amy went to bed with a migraine"

I will say "Amy woke up with a migraine and has had one all day, none of my migraine meds seem to be working today. Oh well one more day of work and then vacation!!

Amy, I empathize totally. Waking up to a migrane will ruin your entire day and there is nothing you can take to fix it. Had the same problem yesterday. I am sorry!

Yes, but Amy did not drop a pot lid on her head! How's the goose-egg?

OK, now really need to get to bed.

Happy 4th Geeks!!!!

It's been a rough week.

DD needs your thoughts these next couple weeks...She's away right now getting help for a problem that DH and I just couldn't find solutions for any longer and where she is at..they have specialists that should be able to help better... Hoping she can come home in a couple weeks.

Brack....It's over in your neck of the woods in Tysons... Maybe one of the days we're over there...you guys could meet us at the Rainforest cafe for dinner one night. Give me a call and i'll see if our schedules ever link up...

PS...No picnic here..It keeps raining... We went to see DD this morning (family therapy visit)
Drove home...Went to get some nearly free Pantene shampoo/cond at Walmart...
Now home...DH just took some burgers out to grill between rain showers.

Kristina, Prayers on the way for your sweet little girl. Also for you and your hubby. Take care!

John, we have done that! It is very cool! Steve really liked it. I would definetly do it if you have the chance.

Goose Egg gone! Just a little tender to the touch. Since my hair is totally flat from the heat, I don't know why I bother doing it anyway. Ladies, ever feel this way?

I thought I would show you where I am spending all my free time. It is cool at the rink though!
