Mummers are hard to explain...
groups/clubs of men (and some women) dressed in sequins and feathers, playing music and strutting, most notably at a New Year's Day parade, but they play at events all year long.
Part Mardi Gras, part Vegas act, part circus, part tradition going back to the 1700s...

One of my favorite restaurants! We have stood in that line many times before but it is well worth the wait. I love the view out the back of the restaurant.

I'm glad that you all are having a good time. The pictures are great and Annette says she wants to go back because of them.

We have had just awesome weather too . . . low humidity, great ocean breezes . . . it was actually cool the first part of the week - in July! Yesterday the ocean was calm, and looked like we were on CC!

Well guys, need to get to bed, I have been waking up at 6:45 when the sun comes up over the rooftops and shines right in my eyes. Good for me though, as I have been walking three miles every morning before everyone gets up.
