The good news today was the kids went to school....and DD fell asleep before 9 pm! No bad new...at least nothing that I have found yet.

My Dsister didn't get back the results today, but the ultrasound tech told her Tuesday that it looked like just a bunch of cycts. All should be good, but of course she isn't out of the woods until she actually gets the results.

That is good...but I am surprised that the tech said anything. The tech who did my US yesterday didn't say a word...except asking me about DCL of course. LOL!

Yes, my DW and I both are ordained ministers in The Salvation Army. We have been pastors of four Salvation Army churches and now are in an administrative appointment. I do finance while my DW does Older Adult and visitation ministry. This is our 22nd year as ministers.

Brack, hope your move goes smoothly. My BF's DH is in the Coast Guard and I hear all about the trials and tribulations with moving! Maybe we can have a mini meet at the Baltimore Aquarium!?! Or you might want to visit the Jersey shore!

We are packing now (actually I am on a break) and it is going ok.

I'd love to meet up in Jersey. I haven't been there in over 30 years. When I worked as an Electronic Engineer I visited a company in Jersey City the company I worked for bought.

I'm HOME!! I drove right to the Costco with no problems! I almost made another wrong turn on the way home, but DrHug was my navigator and prevented any mishap this time. We picked up DGS at his dance and all got home around 9:30. You can call off the police.

Brack, I met the neatest lady a few years ago that ran a youth ministry in Portland for the Salvation Army. She had a place right downtown with washers and dryers, a clothing swap room, a TV room and dinner every night for the kids that are living on the streets. I was touring some of the facilities that we can donate to thru work when I met her. She really touched my heart. She was surrogate mother to all those kids that for whatever reason nobody cares about. The kids could not stay overnight, but at least they have a place to be for awhile that is safe and they can clean up so they are presentable to apply for work.

I am sad, i want to post, but have nothing to say, lol.

An hour left to go here at work, on a water break. I just have to think of it as another day on the ship. I now have the whole cruise week covered for time off and will begin working on the WDW portion of my vacation.

in just the short day or so sence I was on last. Well I still havent gotten anything done today. The kids are having a blast in the camper. I had them pealing off all the fake wood paper. I havent figured out if I am going to paint the ceiling and walls or put more of the fake wood paper up. I was thinking of letting each of the kids paint a flag of thier own on a cuboard door, then use the red,white,blue theme in there also. (that is our theme at the lake, when we buy things, chairs whatever) Like maybe blue matterial with stars. But I havent been able to find dishes I like yet. I'll have to go to the big city to shop. They have some here at our dollar tree but they have the flags, and I like the stars and stripes style better. I guesse I'll find what I find. The camper just fell into our hands so it must of been ment to be. I have so many nice memories as a kid camping, That I can't wait to take the boys. Card games, board games and playing spoons, We used to camp all the time as my dad was a logger. Well better go clean my basement up a bit. See ya later Mum

The first Double Dippers are underway! Although technically this is not the very first "double dip". The first DVC Members Only Cruise in Feb 2003 had 2 days at CC also. We were on that one and the second day at CC was DrHug's birthday. Way too cool!

I am anxious to see the navigators for this one. Especially for the kids. I want to see if they have new activities on CC for them or just pretty much a repeat of activities. Although being the first day I doubt our Aaron will be ready to go off on his own that day, unless he gets hooked up with his DIS friends on Sat afternoon and evening. But I am not counting on any Serenity Bay time that first day.
