Did any of you watch the DCL show on the travel channel tonight? Even though it is the same old show that I've seen many times, I haven't seen it in awhile, and it was fun to watch and daydream about vacation.

John, DD made sure I did not miss the DCL show. We also watched the "Best Cruises" program that was on earlier so we could catch DCL as "Best Family Cruise".

The bracelets look great even DH thought they looked cool and wanted one. You have really done a good job. I would imagine that since my kids are so little they would need the small size. Although maybe one small and one medium for DS because he could wear one on his ankle as well. DD will definitely need the small. When we get the info I will send you a SASE.

We also watched the Travel Channel special last night. We have seen it many times but we still enjoy it and I love to watch the kids see the characters and get so excited. It makes me glad we decided to bring them along. DD just got so excited for the characters and DS has been asking how they "drive" the boat so that part was very interesting for him.

Congrats to Lisa on #7500. I hope before we cruise I get at least one of those milestone posts.

I just had to pay 71 dollars plus 10 shipping to get the book for this class! It really kills me how much they charge for text books! I know when I was in my undergrad program it made me feel so broke! I feel bad for the kids who can barely afford to be at college and then have to come up with money for high priced text books!

I was brain storming today and I want to put this past everyone. On our Jan cruise, my girlfriend put together an Amazing Race packet for the kids. It had things for them to do and find while on the cruise. It had things on it like find 5 people from a different country and such in it. Who is the captain? etc. I was thinking of doing something like this for Dec. Interested?

Maybe PJ could add it to a pre cruise newsletter?

Kim- I think sleep-overs are fun for the parents of the person who is sleeping over!!!!

I can't remember who it was who said they didn't plan on having any more children and that theirs was 13... Well John and I didn't either... Alex was 13 and we thought he was going to to be an only child. Well... we now have Sophia. We have Alex who is 19 and Sophia who is 6. Talk about dealing with Toddler issues and adult issues. When Alex was entering college sophia was entering kindergarten it was like starting all over. Oh well .... The best laid plans.....

Can you guys believe that my boys are going on their first official sleepover this Friday. Eric is 8 and Adam is 7. I'm really not an overprotective parent but I also never felt comfortable with another parent to keep my kids.....staying at grandma's house doesn't count here.

But they are so looking forward to it. Now we've had kids over our house and I cringed when they wanted to reciprocate. I'll have to let you know how it goes on Friday.

I will be bringing an issue to the terminal to handout with "on cruise" info, times and locations, so yeah we could make up a page just for the kid's Amazing Race details and info.

Ahhh... had to look that one up but it is a little different than Motrin. It's active drug is Meloxicam. If i read all the side effects i'd be scared to take it.

They had many precautionaries for people with heart issues or family history of heart issues. Did your Dr. know that when they prescribed?

(i know you expressed concern before when you had tests done.)

It is the same class of drug as Vioxx and Celebrex. I have taken all three in the past for osteo-arthritis in my hip before I had my hip replacement last summer. It did very little to help me. Vioxx was great but they took it off the market.

We won't be doing Palo dinner. I love eating in the dining room too much. We are planning on taking the kids to dinner every night than taking DS to the club after the show.

We got the rest of our shirts today. The adult sizes don't seem to be as oversized as the children's sizes. So fortunately I won't have to do any returning.

They included a month game card for ToonTown in our box. My kids are begging for us to let them play it. Have any of you let your kids play ToonTown? I'm concerned about the safety issues since it's an online game with other people. Anyone know anything about it?

We got ToonTown too. DD wants to play it and I will probably let her if there is no Credit Card involved. What will most likely happen is our computer is too old and slow to run it properly.
