I wonder just how many Jack's we'll have. We looked into getting the Davy Jones costume but I think the face will be too hot and it's really quite an ugly face. I am looking for a new pirate outfit - I'm sure someone else will have on the ship

FINALLY! I can take a quick break & catch up on the boards. What have you guys been up to while I have been gone? The pool was cut out today thanks to DD attacking DS. OY! OY! OY! He went to swim class & didn't want to go afterwards so we went to WM instead...what was I thinking??? OY! I did manage to find a pair of Cinderella sneakers on clearance...marked down $5 anyway...so snagged them in the biggest size so that DD can wear them at WDW. DS found soccer shoes so I don't need to order them online!!! I just scanned everything & got it put away. Does anyone else belong to survey programs? We are an ACNielseen family & I am saving up the points for a Scene It Disney game. DS does the Kidzeyes.com site. He likes getting the emails & LOVES cashing in his points. He just did his 2nd $10 check over the weekend. That is going into his cruise money fund.

I do mypoints.com and sunshine rewards. I'm saving to cash the mypoints in for the $25 webcertificate and then I'll use that at Disneyshopping for a giftcard. I'm $2. away from being able to cash out for $20. in Disney Dollars over at sunshine rewards.

ACNeilson sounds cool, I'd love to get that game, what do you have to do? Is it a pay for surveys site or is it mostly clicking?

I've never heard of sites for kids, my kids would LOVE that. I'll have to look into it.

Looking for a different roll call thread but couldn't resist to see if you had some pictures of Pirate Night posted here, Todd. Did they ever pay you for your appearance? You should inquire about how to be added as a character. Imagine cruising 6 months out of the year, eating at Palo's whenever you want, tons of massages. You can head to make your appearance once a week at the Pirate party. Melissa will make a great Elizabeth Swann. She'll have to darken her hair a bit though. Something to think about.

Well I am back at work today since my fever broke (finally yesterday afternoon) and my headache is mostly gone. It was nice to sleep last night without wincing in pain everytime I turned over.

It has been fun keeping up with this thread and it really gets me in the vacation spirit. DH really wants to dress up for pirate night and he is starting to think of ideas (somebody help me!!! ). He was also looking on Ebay for a Mickey tie he could wear for formal night. He is so picky so maybe he has enough time before the cruise to find one.

ETA: Apparently I was too late and this is actually post #6667. Just ignore me. It should easy to do because I am so shy and quiet.....just like Patsy!

I also forgot to mention that DH keeps asking me exactly how many people are in our little group? I think he is getting concerned that he might get lost. He was wondering if this was about the largest coordinated DIS group on a cruise. I figured the repo cruises were probably pretty big and I didn't know how big the May DD cruise group was but I told him we might be in the running.

I use to do mypoints, & other reward sites when DS was a baby...then they got cheap. You scan everything you buy & transmit once a week. They send you surveys too. You cash in for prizes.

Kidzeyes is for kids 6 & older I believe.

I got a pirate costume for me and DD today at the Old Navy. They were having clearance sales. I have a gap card and Old Navy sent me a bag "stuff the bag and everything inside is 20% off." I stuffed my bag alright!! I got loads of stuff but I will make a pretty good pirate.

Sure, once you have it on a website...I use snapfish or the DIS gallery...just right click on it and then select properties. Copy the http code & post it. You then just need to put

Such a busy and fun group here! I should be cleaning (and just told the DDs to get to work on their jobs)....

On surveys, I do Pinecone research but you have to find out when they need people with certain characteristics (I heard about it on the DIS budget board when they needed people with kids under age 1 and DS was a baby at the time). It's $5 every time you do one of their product surveys. I've signed the DDs up for Kidseyez (however it's spelled) a few weeks ago but haven't gotten confirmation info in the mail yet.

On Pirate costumes, I think all 13 are going to find something. I made DD13 a pirate costume for Halloween 2 years ago, and now DD8 will wear the shirt even though it's big. I've convinced DS3 that he wants to be Captain Feathersword for Halloween this year (and now I have get my sewing plan together on that because I won't have a pattern--and have any of you moms of preschoolers noticed that the Captain's pants seem to be blue sometimes and black at other times?) The rest of us will have to manage something with peasant blouses, white shirts, black pants, wraps, bandanas and eyepatches! (oh, and of course, whatever slimming undergarments one might need!)
