IDK have never looked into that one.

OK, I have a dining question now...in our safe little thread. ;)

I am looking at booking Mama Melrose for the night we are at MGM for the Fantasmic Package. The only thing on the DP kid's menu that he might like is the pizza. Does anyone know what kind of pizza this is? On a pita or flat bread or normal pizza that a kid would eat? If it is like Olive Garden's could we bring in an order of chicken tenders from ABC for him? I think that the package is the only way that we will be able to see the lights that night. They are only 6-7 and Fantasmic is at 7 then the park closes. :( Maybe we should just do CS for lunch then grab another CS for dinner to eat while waiting for the lights to come on then book it to F at 6:30 and hope to get in there?
I like our safe thread!!!

This is your first time to Fantasmic right? I personally think getting there is important. That is a wonderful show that IMO is not to be missed. If you get the dinner and package deal you will be seated way off on the side. I was at Fantasmic several times and the second time I was wondering why a whole slew of people were being seated on the very end of the theater. The CM told me they were with the meal package. Grab dinner and head to the show early to get great seats! Honestly....take if for what it is worth.

Caroline - I enjoyed your trip report. We are seriously considering a cruise from that port in NJ...it is just so darn close! Thanks again!

This will be our third time at Fantasmic. :) The first time we wondered in & were seated in the 2nd row center by a CM who lead us from the back of the stands. :) Last time it was OK...we did the package then too. It sounds like we aren't going to get to see the lights this year either then. :( Are we really missing out?

Actually, I still have no clue how I am getting to the port, :lmao: . You all told me that I could hitch a ride with someone, and I have no clue who yet, :wave2: . I know someone will get me right :confused3 .

Pj
Yes, PJ. We will either rent a car (probably) or get a towncar and you are welcome to join us. I need to decide pretty quickly here and get the reservation made either way.

:donald: :donald: :donald: I'm having trouble with this. I think it is just too many trips too close together. June, July, Sept and Dec Disney trips. I should be able to concentrate on this one when we get back from our 10 day road trip. Our Sept trip is short and everything is already set for that one. This road trip though still has some loose ends and we leave this Friday. OY, to quote Lisa. ;)

Angie, check with Joy too. They said something a long time ago about getting a limo with someone.

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of trouble makers have come out of the woodwork trying to stir up trouble ever since the "play nice" post? :stir:

I don't envy your position Lisa. :badpc:

Lisa has to put the hammer down!!! Down right on thier crazy heads! :rotfl:

Morning all!! Wednesday - yippee!!

Well my dad is checking with his time share thingie to see if he can trade his points (or whatever they do) for the cruise. There is definitely availability which kind of surprises me. (still keeping fingers crossed for a FL discount!!)

Not much else - I know it's still a bit away but I am ready to go right now!

This page has been a HOOT!!! But I work in a cubicle, and LOL is verbotten - and late yesterday afternoon, took a little break to catch up on the posts, and it was just too much.:rotfl2::rotfl:

OK - the next list we need on the web page is "Dress" so we can post what we are wearing when, so we can all wear the green shirts together, all wear our blue tropical Mickey outfits the same night, not have too many Jack Sparrows, and be sure our formal dresses fit in.:teeth:

I am going to get a new dress - got to get working on that - DH has his tux which looks quite elegant. I love formal night!!! (I can say that on our private thread, right?)

Have a good day everyone. :sunny:

Good morning Suzanne!
:sunny:
I am have the thread open at work quite often and have learned to LQ.
(Laugh Quietly). Fortunately I work with a great bunch of guys and as long as the invoicing and payroll is caught up they are A O K. :thumbsup2

Don't you guys go getting in trouble now! ;)

I am trying to get the kids ready for the pool. DS's last class is this Friday then we have two weeks until his soccer camp. I can't wait to not have to go somewhere in the am!

Good Morning. Just checking in and catching up.

Lisa, we have never eaten at Mama Melrose's so I can't answer your question about the pizza, but that is on my list of restaurants to try this trip also.

I wonder just how many Jack's we'll have. We looked into getting the Davy Jones costume but I think the face will be too hot and it's really quite an ugly face. I am looking for a new pirate outfit - I'm sure someone else will have on the ship :)

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Last night I got caught up on the posts. You guys are cracking me up on the "spanx"! Too funny :rotfl2:

Thanks Lisa for fixing my name  I love your red shirt for pirate night.

Becka your dress is adorable! No new dresses for me this time. My shopping has been all about DDs! DD16 said she will dress for pirate night if I will. We will have to see about that!

Anyone staying at POP before the cruise? We are now arriving on 12/6.

Lisa - If I remember correctly the pizza at MM was the flat bread kind. My DS ate it pretty well but he is not very picky. He was just thrilled they had olives to put on it.

We went our on last trip and we were pretty impressed. I had a chicken sandwich that was good and DH had a nice pasta dish. We really loved the atmosphere as well and I know we will go back sometime in the future.

I am glad everyone likes the dress now I just have to hope that it does not look too bad on me. :)

This morning was the first day this week I went out and didn't get hit by a wall of heat!! It seems to have broken with the quick TS last night. But the excessive heat took a toll on the ice maker at the restaurant and one of the freezers is down too. DH has called everyone and they are all too busy to come look at them. :furious: I just nod and think quietly that I don't have to deal with it myself. :rolleyes1

It will probably be me and DD3 driving down (leaving Thursday)and taking the Auto train home with DH and other DDs flying down Friday after school. My life would be so much easier if I would just get on the plane!! Maybe all of us will take the AT train home, but it would drive DH batty!
