Brandi - there is an ice cream place "Brewsters" that does a free extra scoop if it is raining. They have great ice cream. I met Kristina and her family there a few weeks ago.

Gotta run. I have jury duty orientation today. Hope I don't have to stay all day. I have stuff to do for the memorial and am NOT in the mood for this today.

The thing is that their single scoops are really huge to begin with so not everyone asks for the extra scoop.

I have let my DD do it a couple times and she usually doesn't finish it anyway.

By the way....you get free second scoop if it's snowing too... (they're open year round.)

I went on vacation for 5 days and I had to take notes.... You all are amazing! We always go to Jackson Hole for our anniversary, and this year was no exception.

Karen, I have to tell you that our house got toxic black mold from bad stucco and they condemed it and rebuilt it from frame. They came in heppa suits, took everything we owned and kicked us out. We had to tell our neighbors that we did not live in a meth house, just mold. I remember being where you are. I am sorry, and several years from the experience, you may not want to hurt the contracter as bad as you do today. Really really I am sorry!

Palo Brunchers, I sent e-mail today to the concierge address about the private room. I hope to hear back soon. Lisa has the list of signed up people, so we are going with hers once we hear back.


Angie, I am so sorry about your father. It really does not matter how old they are or how sick they are, it is still hard. My prayers are with you!

Just popping in to say hello! It's been slow here lately. I'm glad to hear about all the the good news, beach trips, and free ice cream.

Karen, I hope things are well with your basement.

Angie, Good luck getting ready for the service and the jury duty.

You can send some of that rain down here! We are still carrying used wash water around the back yard to try to keep the trees and shrubs watered. It did rain a little last night but not enought to do much good.

The new kitten sleeps on my pillow at night. It's cute as pie until I try to roll over and into a furball with claws! I'm not getting enough sleep!

Tonight he sleeps in the basement.

DD and DH are finally getting into planning for the trip. YAY!

We have a Brewsters about one mile from the house! They do the free scoop thing too. It is a walk up and order at the window type of place, so without the free scoop, they do almost no business in the rain. Of course here in the deep south a free scoop because of snow is not really an issue.

The new kitten sleeps on my pillow at night. It's cute as pie until I try to roll over and into a furball with claws! I'm not getting enough sleep!

They are so cute when they are kittens!

Penny, glad you are almost done those "Saturdays!" Maybe you should do a few more for some spending money.

They are too cheap, would never pay our a vacation day. They made my boss take off days left over from two years ago. Vacation days expire every two years, so during the end of April there are all kinds fo people taking time off that is about to expire. They have only ever paid out vacation days when someone leaves the company.

I wish they would because, one of our Saturday only people is leaving for a month and another is leaving for good. So right now we have one Saturday person and we need three, so I will be doing two weekends this month. So after July only one day to go to coverer vacation, and maybe I will add on the Monday to rest before I fly out on Tuesday.
