I figured you would have to drive right by here on I-70. In fact we live less than 5 miles from the interstate.

The Lake (as we call the Lake of the Ozarks here) is a very beautiful area. It is about 75 minutes from where we live. Very RV friendly. :thumbsup2

We drove thru The Lake ;) a few years ago on our way to/from Ft. Leonard Wood for our DS's basic training graduation. No time to stop and enjoy it, but we did make a note that we needed to come back. :thumbsup2

Marielle, we definately want to do the Philly area. I have a cousin that lives near there - actually Delaware I think, but works in Philly at a federal prison. Would that be possible....have not been there.

Entirely possible. Philly is in the southeast corner of the state, so plenty of people commute in from south Jersey or Delaware (both just as close as the PA suburbs).

You just park at WM overnight when you are traveling. They let you because it is 1) good business for them because you would then buy your supplies there 2) security for the stores - for free and 3) a community service to the retired travelers.

It is funny you say it is like a cruise cabin. That is EXACTLY what DSIL said when we were looking at them. DrHug decided he needs to put a When You Wish Upon A Star plaque above the headboard! :rotfl2: I'm all in favor of that, of course. The only thing missing will be the chefs to prepare my dinner, the waitstaff to place the napkin on my lap, and the room steward to make up my room twice a day! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

am I dreaming? I actually thought I have some chance of keeping the trailer clean - lol. but a 2x a day cabin steward sounds pretty good too.

I have been buying stuff on sale from Disney online - I have a Mickey theme going - plenty to choose from. shower curtain, pillows, dishes etc. I will be all set when I finally purchase.

I don't think I realized that they have slides on motor homes rather than trailers - of course it makes sense. It really does give you a whole different feel inside with the wider spaces.

Kim, DD wants to go camping (oh we are RVing now, not camping!) at Cherry Hill on June 30 - July 3. That's near you, I think.

Oh a bunch!! Think of the Volkswagons of the 60's. How many did they get into those things? And all that storage underneath could hold a bunch of luggage - mail ahead what we can't carry! :drive: < = Dennis
:surfweb:< = Angie - there is a tray and plug in for laptop at the passenger seat!

That sounds like such a blast! :goodvibes

I think everyone but John1 gets a "zero" for the "effort and participation" portion of our grade.

:rotfl:

I have always been an underachiever....now I can fit it! ;)

Long day today. Right now DH is in the garage trying to pump up my flat tire. After I drop off the kids I have to go get the tire fixed which means taking an hour of personal leave this morning. I will miss an hour of work...darn! ;)

After work DS has a birthday party at Bonkers so I am going to pick him up and take him to that. They are having pizza and cookies which of course DS can't eat. I packed him a second bag lunch today that he can eat for dinner at the party. DH is going to pick DD up and they will have an evening to themselves.

DS loves Bonkers so I figure we will be there until at least 7:30 - 8:00 tonight. I am going to take my new Unofficial WDW guide and do some additional reading and planning.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Wow I can't believe Feb is almost over. Christmas will be here before you know it!

The program at the school was sooo good - of course I was the only parent without a camera....d'oh! But it was just Samantha's class and they did a great job. I was on the front row and she could see me...no stagefright or anything..I was impressed...but then, she gets that from me!;)

My sister is coming with us this weekend. I changed up some dining plans to include her. Other than that, not much is new. The weather has been great the past couple days...70-80's, we were in the pool again last night.

American Idol tonight...I know...such wonderful food for my brain.

Hope all is well with everyone...

Becka - how is Nathan doing? Do you see a lot of difference in his behavior?

Nathan is doing so much better. He is handling the food restrictions quite well still and we are seeing big improvements in his behavior especially this past week. It is almost like having a different kid sometimes. His teachers at school have also noticed a big change. He still has his moments but they seem to be when he is really tired which is somewhat understandable. I know I get crabby when I am tired. I know within days of changing his diet he seemed to be sleeping better so maybe being tired was causing so many of the behavior issues.

He is still crazy and still far more energetic that most kids but he is listening better. He seems able to concentrate better. He is just so much easier to live with. :goodvibes
