12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 15

I hit the grocery store earlier today; made the chicken pie (not chicken pot pie... that's a different meal) and made the chili. There's several nights of dinner ready for a busy week. Also put together a quick pudding pie with raspberries for halftime.

No Super Bowl here for us. The kids are watching the Wiggles and i am counting down the hours until I can take more meds....the usual around here lately.

OK maybe it it just the pain and the meds but I clicked on the August repo thread and saw all this talk about Give Nothing Back and pirates, etc.. It makes me sad because all of that stuff used to be unique to this group and now it does not seen so special now that "outsiders" (for lack of a better term) have taken it up for themselves. How pathetic am I?

I feel the same...it sorta has no meaning with us now!

Ok, I think I am caught up...

thanks SO MUCH for thinking of us....the storm was actually very close to Orlando and very devastating. When we left it was windy here....I mean Tropical Storm windy and upon arriving home....all my potted plants, and I have TONS, were turned over. I was very shocked to hear NFL mention Central FL on the superbowl....I am sure there will be a tad bit of controversy over that compared to the war.

We had a fantastic time met sooooo many NEW characters....Haley had a great birthday weekend...and really, I felt at peace with my work decision until I got home....the CEO sent me a welcome letter and my whole benefits and HR packet was in the mail......as Johnny says.....I can't dwell on it.....

I thought Prince looked like Aunt Jemima. I was really glad he took it off. I am sad for the bears....

Well, there's drinking, which we do and there is obsessed with drinking and planning vacation around that. Not my cup of cognac. To each their own. And, yep, I thought that was what Carnival was for. Golly, I'm sounding like an old prude here.

That happened a few time when DD was a baby...

It was so cold that when you breathed in your nose hairs froze....

Regular schools cancelled but PSU in its infinite wisdom decided we still had classes.


It's a whopping 13 degrees here right now....It's windy too..SO i'm sure about 15-20 degrees colder with wind chill...

Gotta run and get my hair dry....
