I am back but just barely!

We were gone 24 days, drove over 5,000 miles, cruised over 4,000 nautical miles and had the best vacation ever! Thanks to you all!

We are still not unpacked from the trip yet. Already we have to do a weekend retreat at camp. At least I hope to work on the photos (and get your jump drive mailed to you Lisa) this weekend.

I didn't upload my cruise pics yet. I have Christmas and Birthday up but not cruise. I plan on doing that this weekend. I will post one of Jake and Eliza in their sailor and captain suits.

TEQUILA CHRISTMAS CAKE RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
Nuts
1 bottle tequila
2 cups of dried fruit

Sample the tequila to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the tequila again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat.

Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup... just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.

Pick the frigging fruit up off floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the tequila to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt or something.

Check the tequila.

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off the turner.

Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the tequila and wipe counter with the cat.

Steve has a conference in Disneyland in May so we are going then. I would love to go in Feb. too, but I think I would be pushing my luck, and my husband.

I will be 58 March 10 of 2008 with 20 years of federal service. March 30 is my target date to move to the northwoods of Montana, get an RV and hit the road. We can "live at the Walmarts" as we cross the country.

I just got back from Old Navy where they had a lot of their winter stuff on clearance. I got really nice coats and snowpants for next winter for the kids, a winter hat and mittens set for DD, and two pairs of pants for DD for about $70.

We love DL in May. What week? Maybe we will have to do yet another DL trip.

We will be there the 16th - 20th. DH conference hotel is already booked and so is the Disneyland Hotel, so we are staying at the Grand Californian. I really like the Disneyland Hotel better, what is going on there? I hope you can come then!!
