I JUST figured out what I am going to do . . .

I have TWO onboard booking reservations!

One for 12/8/07, and one for a "dummy" January date in 2008. I plan to cancel BOTH.

I think I will give DU control of the 2007 booking, and I will call Disney myself trying to get a room first thing on the 31st with the 2008 booking. Let the best man win! I don't think Disney will prevent me from doing this, so it's all good!

The only downside is that I am immediately giving up my 12/07 booking, but at this point, that is a foregone conclusion.

That morning, I will be in Washington DC, getting ready to leave for the airport, so I have time on my hands.

I have to pat myself on the back for thinking of this! I am a genius!

Don't you want to keep the other one for the 1/09 booking?

ok, so does that mean I should transfer my booking to DU and let them handle it? If so, I would lose the 10% off and $200 credit right?

one thing I am looking forward to........no MORE FLOUNDERS!! But I bet Flounders would be cheaper than a 3 year olds fare.

I was trying to remember all day how old Kaitlyn would be. 7 then right? She would be in with Dina in the 5-7 group. But I would assume you may try to get her into the 8-10s since she will be so close to 8 and she could be with her brother and the Lab!:thumbsup2

I told Amanda that William is in the pirate picture and she said "Told Ya!!":rotfl2:

Of course Lisa!

Once they release the 1/09 cruises, I will then move the one that is not as good to 1/09!

I will be tying up more deposit than I want to, but that's the price I guess I will have to pay.

Any idea if DCL will double the onboard credit for the 15 day cruise?

No, it means that if you transfer it to Dreams you need to give them permission to transfer it without being able to notify you of the price beforehand. You will keep the OB discount & credit.

LOL! He was probably pestering her because he didn't want to be there. :rolleyes1 Kaitlyn will turn 8 on 9/4 so she will have already been in the 5-7s three years. I think that she will be ready for a change. It is only 8-9s together. The 10-12s are together. If it was 8-10 I would probably leave her in with the 5-7s.

OK, you will also have that cruise closer to being paid off. :)

I doubt that they will double the OBC. They didn't for the med repos.

Well, they paid the tips, how about that?

With the onboard deals on the east bound they only added the kids cruise free & paid the tips after they weren't selling. I don't see it happening with the PC.

DU is offering $200-$300 onboard credit for the repros also. :thumbsup2 I submitted a request for a quote from them.

I want that credit! I'm thinking of trying on my own at 5am *ugh* and then transferring it to DU later that day. Our last TA (AAA) was absolutely AWFUL so I'm a little leary now of handing my ressie to a TA but I've heard such good things about DU that I may give it a shot.

Now I am unsure what to do.:headache: I would think if I put in a request with DU, they wouldn't get to mine until much later as I am sure they have NUMEROUS quotes to get, leaving the possibility of a higher price if I go through them. But they can just keep plugging away with the same CM until they are done? OY!

I know... it's all so stressful. I have a knot in my stomach over it. I sure hope the 31st gets here quickly. :headache:
