I made it to town and back this afternoon. There are still several spots that are packed snow coming up the hill to our house. Hope DrHug makes it up before it freezes over again. He works until 9 and has an hour or so drive home. OY! He may have to walk the half mile up the hill. That would not be a good thing.

Yikes....I saw that AP footage of Oregon today on the morning news...Cars going down the street totally sideways...

Guess they didn't have their chains yesterday..

I went to our GS truck today, it comes around twice a month selling stuff since we don't have a satelite office nearby, to get Sarah her Cadette books. One of the women inside was commenting about not seeing me for awhile and if I miss being a leader. Ummm....






The cookies are still coming to my house this Saturday...

Some of those sliding DID have chains on. There were even a couple of city buses with chains that were sliding. OY. Hills and snow covered ice just don't mix well. I stayed home both days and tomorrow is iffy. Weather says we may have a bit more moisture coming thru tonight. I'm just hunkering down until the afternoon thaw. Oh, there was no thaw yesterday when all the slippin' and slidin' was going on.

Yes, he was behind Savannah & Sophia because he didn't want his picture taken. I only saw him from the one taken from the balcony. You can see the burgandy back.

We can't sell until the 31st, but it is plastic case with security strips that break as soon as you open it, making it unrefundable.

The Company posted record revenue of $7.1 billion and record net quarterly profit of $1.0 billion, or $1.14 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $5.7 billion and net quarterly profit of $565 million, or $.65 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 31.2 percent, up from 27.2 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 42 percent of the quarter’s revenue.

Apple shipped 1,606,000 Macintosh® computers and 21,066,000 iPods during the quarter, representing 28 percent growth in Macs and 50 percent growth in iPods over the year-ago quarter.

Thanks!!!! Honestly, the kids were so happy to see me it made me feel really good. The teachers kept telling me how happy they were that I was back and telling me that I will never know how much they missed me. They were also telling me that the Christmas concert was a total joke. The principal even said how "disappointed he was the first half of the year." He also said, "you will have lots of pieces to pick up."

I didn't have time to miss my own kids...I was so busy!

ok, I try not to ask for much but please send me some good luck for this interview. This is a really great company - a for profit one (haven't worked for a "for" in a while) and my interview is Friday at 1:30...HR is emailing me an agenda, so I think it will be how we conduct interviews for the department, going through various levels of people. It has been a while since I interviewed. I am thrilled at the interest though and since I put my salary requirements on there, taking the increase in daycare into account....and they didn't toss me, I think it's a good thing!
