I finished my trip video but unfortunately it ended up being 32MB and I can't find anywhere to upload it to and it is too big to e-mail according to my ISP. We have up to 60 MB of website space with my ISP but it is 6 pages each with 10MB so that does not help me. Any ideas how I can get this out? I would at least like our families to see it. I guess if nothing else I can burn it to CD and mail it to them but I would like to avoid that if possible. Any ideas?

DD wants to do TBall - I have until this Saturday to decide. 15 games - twice a week for the school year. She turns 7 in March and this would be her first experience in a team sport. I'm thinking its quite a commitment and I'm trying to explain to her that she HAS to go because the team expects it. She can't say "I don't feel like going today" Her reply "Well, I've very good at T-Ball - well is it on the tee or will they pitch it? I'm great at hitting" Oy. Any thoughts/advice?

From their website:
Practices start the middle of April. Games start April 22. Teams play 2 games each week, one week night game and one Saturday game.

Weekday game nights and Saturday game times are varied. Teams will play 15 games and will be done by the end of the school year.

LEAGUES
Players are assigned to a level of play according to their age.
5 year-olds play T-Ball I. Players hit off a tee the entire year. Players bat every inning and play every inning in the field.
6 Year-olds play T-Ball II. Players hit off a tee for the first half of the year. During the second half of the year the coach's pitch to the players. Players are given three swings and then the ball is placed on the tee, for the player to hit. No one is allowed to strike out. Players bat every inning and play every inning in the field.
7 Year-olds play Instructional Baseball. Coaches pitch, 3 outs per inning, 10 players in the field.

Carla,

T-ball SHOULD be a good intro and experience to see if Bella likes it. It SHOULD be low pressure, all kids play, etc. If it is like that wher you live, I say give it a try. If it is super competitive even at that age, I would find something else. All depends on coaches and league, which is why I made sure I volunteered and coached for Alex.

I downloaded a hi res copy from snap fish, I did 50 photos, so it was $.29 each.

Pj

Well,

That is a reminder to get back to Snapfish. I started an order there, and then got distracted. I paid $50 to buy a bunch of credits.

Oh, and Carla I saw you decided against T-Ball. Alex did T-ball all the way up to Freshman baseball. He was growing up when the Indians were finally good, so baseball was really hot here for kids.

John1

I have to tell you guys . . .

I finally took a big gadget plunge.

I have been waiting for a long time to buy a big-screen wide TV. I have been waiting for prices to come down more to earth, and quality to increase. The Apple TV coming finally put me over the edge, and I bought one yesterday. I bought one of the new Sony 46" LCD TV's and all I can tell you is that it is AMAZING.

1080p (even though nothing is broadcast above 720p). Last night Alex and I hooked up my laptop to it (yes, it even has a computer DVI input) and it was really something. I was looking at my photos from the cruise on that screen, and all I can say is I was FLOORED. The quality was stunning.

Even without Apple TV Carla, I had Front Row running on the TV and it was fun on that huge screen.

Watching Football today - what fun! Even though I do not yet have the HD cable box, this is great. Once I get that HD cable box it should be really something.

John1

Oh, and if anyone has questions about big screen TV's and the different technologies and resolutions, I took a crash course yesterday and learned quite a lot.

Sorry Carla - Pats down 14-3 . . . . Hard for me to decide who to root for. Marty Schottenheimer deserves to win a Super Bowl, but there is a Canton guy on the Pat's staff (Off. Coordinator).

So the superbowl party is at YOUR house then?

(congrats on the tv btw)

DH and i had lived with just a 19" tv for so many years (it refused to die) that it seemed like a big jump to just 27"....

Now if i could DIS on 46" :rolleyes1

Carla, was this Christmas with DH's family or something? Just wondering why you had to go crazy about presents for everyone. :confused3

Exactly! It looked a bit intense/competitive and since neither of us could coach I felt very uncomfortable.

so was I missed??

We had a great day!! Saw Horace Horsecollar, one of the Main St characters, Brer Bear and Brer Fox, lGideon and lots of the regular ones. Samantha got her first haircut at the barber shop, special cert and all, John got his hair cut there as well. ate at LTT for lunch and wow, I got the best compliment - as we left a woman at a table with about 7 - that were seated next to us and all had southern accents...stopped me and said "may I just tell you how well behaved your children are"....I got tears in my eyes...(and someone also told me this a bit ago when I took the two ALONE (first time) out to Olive Garden) you know as a parent I try hard to make sure I am doing the right thing....hoping they are polite and not annoying anyone....for me it is so rewarding to think that for 30-40 min of a stranger seeing my children - they think they are behaved and I may just be doing a good job of it after all!

We did tons of rides and were home by 5:30 pm......writing my one day tripper now before I forget. I think I am giving up on my 06 WDW adventures....and starting fresh this year....

You are always missed V! Sounds like a fabulous day and what a well deserved compliment on your girls! Wow on the characters I have never seen any of those characters. So did John2 get sparkles in his hair re Annette?

Simply AWESOME!!! THe big Sony was Carl's birthday present from me 2 years ago. He is in love watching football in HD. I agree the quality is stunning.
I have the Apple TV in my cart still John. I'm waiting (don't know why since I know I am going to get it).

13-14 and then 13-20 right before my eyes. yeah 13-21 now. OY.

Evidently - why anyone would bother to check with me and my schedule I'll never know. :confused3 This always seems to happen when I am traveling or in meetings all day. Tell me that isn't planned. MIL never seems to call when I am around but if I check voicemail I do hear the guilt ridden messages.

Brack,

How can we get copies?

John1

I can make a disk and mail it to you if you would like.

Do you want all of the lobby pictures? If you could make one good one from them it would be great. It will a be few days before my Photoshop software arrives. (we get it through Adobe at a discount so I have to wait).

In the fall we bought the new Samsung 40 inch 1080p LCD TV. It was not until I bought the new HD TiVo with built in cable cards from Comcast Cable and subscribed to their HD service that I really saw the great pictures.

If you get INHD there are some 1080p or 1080i shows. I am watching Motley Crue's Carnival of Sins concert right now (no comments!). You are right though it is stunning.

Thanks for reminding about the computer input. I'm going to try that.

so was I missed??

SURE!

Amy and I were just saying . . . what would it be like to live so close to WDW? Would we get bored with it? Nahhhhhhhhhh!

21-21 now Carla . . . I can hear Carl all the way in Canton!
