nope, we are keeping the ESPN weekend.....I am trying to watch my spending....we really need to work on the house some this year...maybe even a new roof....

Okay I want to go to WDW. I want to go on another cruise. I want a Macbook, I want an iPhone. I want to have a minimeet at the new Pirate Princess Party. I want Heros and BG to hurry up and come back on. I want a Wii or at least to play one. I want my car to come in today! I want to finish listening to my book on tape and read the 5 others ones that I received. I want the DVD Inconvenient Truth. I want a great productive work day but I'll settle for one that doesn't end with a stress headache.

I don't want to do laundry or make beds. I don't want to attend another over an hour conference call. I don't want to listen to one more person sucking up, being disloyal or tooting their own horn.


I guess I'll settle for reading trip reports at the end of the day and listening to my music loudly.

Have I mentioned lately that you are a nut????

You sound ALMOST like my kids did growing up, except the inserted the word NEED instead of WANT!

well, I just calculated up what my new daycare rates would be if I chose to change jobs (thus losing the hospital rate) and it would increase $5k per year....and I would lose the 12 credit days per child.....

So you would need a significant increase in pay and benefits to offset that and actually put you ahead. Negotiating info.

no snow here, thank goodness but it was in the upper 40's this morning....and the girls went to the beach with John yesterday afternoon. Weather....just amazes me.

Surprising no snow there V! It continues off and on here today.

morning all....

I can't sleep....so I got on the pc....I hear John holler from the bedroom...."what are we 90 days out from?"....duh, it's 180 days now dear, and nothing I just can't sleep.

I have been sending out my resume and heard back from on place yesterday....pretty exciting but we'll be setting up an interview for next week.

I have been wanting to send Samantha to K this year....one of the private schools around here is flexible with the age issue but they do have a selection process and the testing is at the end of this month. Seems kind of early to me for an August admission date.

They also want teacher's opinions recommendations from her current school....I am not sure about that either....is that normal for this age?

I have heard of some places that do placement testing, but no personal experience. We have decided to send Sarah to private Kindergarten next year... she will get a full day curriculum vs the 2 1/2 in the public school by our house. We did this for Nick as well and really liked the K program he went through. Plus (the big factor) is that it's hardly more for K tuition than it is for before/after care if she goes to public school.

Being a public school booster, I don't know, and it sounds a bit extreme to me!

BTW V . . . you know you simply CANNOT cancel the 12/8/07 cruise . . . you guys are one of the reasons we switched from 12/1 to 12/8!

What fun today!!! I ended up driving and we went to TJMaxx first...so not impressed with that store. I haven't been missing anything after all. Once we finally found our way to Kohl's after being given misdirections by 2 people, I had a blast!!! I found a ton of soft sweaters & the shirts that I like. Saved 15% too! Now that I have an album for the DC pictures I will need to put them together...project for tonight.

OK - who is organizing the meet for this event? I don't think this is something that we can miss. It would be wrong for us not to go and pay our respects.

Nope, watching a replay of the Boise State game (I missed the 2nd half) so that I can watch a bowl game I can feel good about!

We had it on tonight. Jason was watching it when I got home from choir.

An amazing thing happened at choir tonight. After I was told that the old SS president "would not sing in choir." and all of the other horrible things that have been happening....she appologized and asked for forgiveness. She was very humble. She teaches preschool at a Christian preschool. She told me she felt horrible teaching the children about Christian ways when she knew she wasn't treating me right. We talked for a long time. I feel like a huge weight was lifted from my life. I was anxious to tell all of you! Thanks for all of your support.
