I hadn't thought about that. I still need to venture into the land of the unknown here. That makes sense, but takes up too much of his budget since we are cutting back even more next year for Christmas. I found a great deal at Target today!!! A Lego roadster motor creator set at 50%!!! Now he has his 2 big gifts taken care of. Maybe they will have a deal on a nano before then.

Usually the deals you see on the Apple site for refurbed iPods are the best prices you will see for a reliable and warrantied device. And usually they will be selling the previous generation of device. The nano's that they are selling there are the previous iteration of the nano - not the new aluminum clad color ones. Nothing wrong with that - just last year's models.

But . . . while the prices have dropped some, usually with Apple they keep the price close to the same, but improve the product (like more storeage).

MacWorld coming up on Tuesday, so who knows what will be last year's model by Wednesday?

well, it's probably a bit easier for Floridians to make "quick" trips when the boat hasn't sold too well. I wish we could do the 7 night....

BTW - 40's and 50's up here . . . you all may think that is cold, but it is downright balmy for January! I told Amy this is un-natural.

They have a craft table set up in each country for the kids. They make a mask, adding to it in each country and getting a stamp on it.

Jake really enjoys this!!!! He was thrilled this year because we let him make 2...one for him and one for his sister!

hi everyone

we just got back from chicago with autumn, things did not go the best. we ended up with 4 surgeries. one planned 3 emergency. she was placed in a medicated coma for a few days so the swelling around her brain could go down. unfortunately it looks like she will have some permanate damage. she is unable to move her eyes fully and the pain is worse than ever. i am so happy we did our cruise when we did and i am so grateful to all of you that made it even more special. time to get some sleep will check in again real soon. 10 nights of sleeping in a hospital have exhausted me.

Jake really enjoys this!!!! He was thrilled this year because we let him make 2...one for him and one for his sister!

Sophia loves doing the masks too. They had Christmas Masks (with a Santa Hat) at Epcot this Christmas. Also keeps them walking from one country to another.

You can also buy the passports, and the CM's will write the child's name in the language and alphabet of their country.

BTW . . . when we have done the candlelight, we have done the dinner and show combo to get guaranteed seats at the show. One year we saw the show in the rain. We have always enjoyed it.

The one year we did it (they don't do this anymore) if you did the dinner and show, you got a special lanyard with a LARGE special pin. You also got an all day 10% discount for all Epcot shopping - which I think they do still do.

I just got my cheap sub to Disney Adventures today. It was suppose to start 12/7/06. Oh well. The kids are happy & it is good thru 12/09!!!!

And here's the "after." She donated about 12 inches of her hair to Locks of Love, which makes wigs for kids with alopecia and other diseases.

She looks cute with the short hair!

It was 74 here today. This is rediculous!!!! I want to wear my sweaters & drink hot chocolate!!!! DD hasn't been able to wear most of her winter clothes.

I'm jealous. It's soooo cold and super windy in Vegas today... In the 30s and 40s. I was drinking hot tea all day trying to get warm.
