Oh and on the bad luck front apparently DD woke up from nap early tugging at her ear so I figure a dr. appt for a possible ear infection is on the schedule for tomorrow. :sad2:

Oh, the good thing about this morning's appointment is that DS came up with an idea for his project for the invention convention this year. :) He is going to invent a new test for strep. A lollipop that comes in different flavors with a stick that has a chemical that can detect the virus. Suck on the pop for 5 minutes and if you have strep, the tip of the stick turns red. If you don't have it it turns blue. ;)

Sign Savannah up for that one! No matter how sick she is she never wants to go to the dr because she hates the rapid strep test. She says it hurts really bad. Did they give him one of those?

I guess that I am talking to myself today. This hasn't turned out anything like it was planned. William has had a rash on his thighs for a few weeks then didn't say anything. Last night he was upset in the shower so I went in & helped him finish up quickly. He said that his legs burned. The rash was red & there were red lines going down his leg. I was going go make an appointment for him after school but this morning he woke up with a sore throat and wouldn't eat because it hurt too much...usually means strep for him. Doctor cleared him...no fever...and he went to school at 9:20. At 12 I got a call from the nurse that he wasn't feeling well, didn't have a fever but looked terrible to her. I got him & picked up a couple things to help with his rash along with an Rx. He rested on the couch and after an hour told me that he felt hot & funny. He had a 100.4 temp. I am expecting to get a call in the morning that the culture came back positive. I have to renew my license tomorrow since it expires Saturday. :( I was heading out the door to do that when I got the call from the school.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Tell William Dina wishes for him to feel better!

That is such a great idea!!:thumbsup2

Also DS did fairly well today but unfortunately it was a classmates birthday and the Mom brought in cupcakes for the kids which of course DS could not eat. Apparently he did pretty good but they said it made him a little sad. He got to eat his raisins instead.

The daycare has been getting ingredient lists for us from their food suppliers so we can start determining what DS can and cannot eat there. So far the vast majority of foods are off limits to him.

This is why there are no birthday celebrations at the schools here any more.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Andy called and said Kristina's surgery went well. She should be home from the hospital by Sunday I believe.:goodvibes

Best Wishes to Kristina as she recovers. I knew she was having some operation but did she ever say what for? I hope it went well.

DD was thrilled with her new bed. The kids saw her room first. Allie ran into the room said "Allie bed!" and "Happy!" and then she climbed right up in it. She loved the Cinderella blanket and the new princess wall decorations. She was also happy to see her stuffed animals made the transition from the crib to the bed and were waiting for her. ;)

She wanted to take her shoes and socks off and climb under the covers saying "Nigh Nigh". I think she will be pretty easy to transition. We will see how tonight goes.

Allie also had a big day at school. Today was the 3rd day in a row she went potty at school and today she went all by herself. They found her in the bathroom with her pants and diaper already off and going by herself. :yay: It sure would be nice to be diaper free in a few months!!!!

After about two minutes or so it dawned on Nathan that Allie's bed looked like his old one and he went running down the hall to see if he had a new bed. He was also very excited to see his new bed and jumped right up on. He liked his new Cars decor but he also wanted to know where his Nemo blanket was. I told him we still had it and he wanted it back to put on top of his Cars stuff.

He also liked the Cars wall decorations but we took down some of the Baby Mickey ones that have been on his wall since he was a newborn. He noticed they were missing and asked if we still had them too. I guess we will have to find some more wall space for the Disney Baby stuff to go back up. He is a big boy but he is still holding on to some of his baby/toddler stuff.

Oh Lisa, I hope William is ok.....red lines remind me of a spider bite....did the dr say anything about the rash?

Hope he feels better really soon. Aaron keeps asking when he can see William again! :)

I can't tell you how it warms our hearts to hear these little things out of the day of "our" kids. All of them!

Yep, sounds like he is not ready to let go yet. Could be with all the other big changes in his life with the allergy situation that he just needs that familarity for a bit longer.:grouphug: for him.
