Boy I am tired just reading all that. I hate driving. and I thought I had it bad being a twin chauffeur.

We just got our new minivan after putting 125,000 miles on the old one - mostly driving back and forth to the main town center - about 15 miles away.
It' s amazing how you can put 20,000 miles a year on a vehicle that way.

hello to you both!!! thank Annette for calling me back last week.

What kind? What kind?!?!

afternoon all....

I think I may take the girls out to Johnny's game tonight. Not that I will get to watch much but at least I can see him hit!

Friday - yeah!!

:rolleyes1 Heck, we have one on the other thread that corrects DCL's spelling too!:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yes, it is a version of the Geeks. ;) We have a speller, a couple mathematicians, photography buffs, band geeks....

They remind us of you guys but the original is the best. :)

I was thinking the same thing about chartering the boat, er I mean ship! (sorry there William):lmao:

He has skin rashes and always has that cause him to itch a lot along with some other symptoms. He might feel somewhat cruddy but honestly he probably would not know the difference - that may be all he knows. :sad2:

I agree that I should win the lottery - maybe then I could afford my very own private chef/nutristionist to help us deal with this.

I know DCL is supposed to be good with allergies but do you think they will be able to accomodate DS?

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I hope that you guys get some help to get you thru this transition. I know that you have posted your concerns about his behavior at times. A friend has kids who have reactions to a couple food items. She noticed a big change in their behavior once those items were eliminated. Did the doctor say anything about this being a possibility for Nathan?

I finally figured out what this PC stood for.:lmao: It has been confusing on the other thread with Port Canaveral, Panama Canal, etc, then you guys threw this one in.

:sad2: Haven't you been paying attention, Caroline? I even added it to the title. :lmao:

PC = Port Canaveral
TPC = the Panama Canal

Thanks again everyone! I am once again reminded how great of a group you all are. I can't believe the odds that everyone of you is just so great - there is not a bad banana in the bunch! :rotfl:

Yes the allergist seems to think from our appointment today that many of the behavior issues we are seeing with Nathan could very well be caused and or made worse by his allergies. She at one point called him the "poster child for allergies". I am not expecting any miracles but she seems to think we may barely recognize him in a few months.

Becka, I already posted about this before reading this post but I have seen the difference in my friend's kids. They wouldn't/couldn't sit still for 10 seconds before. Now they can sit and read, color, watch a movie...totally different.

Becka,
on a lighter note about the allergies.... did anyone else notice that, based on that list, Nathan can't have beer? Good for future reference.

Actually, I think Bud just came out with a new beer that people with allergies to glutton & wheat can drink. Elizabeth on the View was talking about why she doesn't sample the foods they cook & it is because of an allergy to a couple things including wheat. Last week she opened up a bottle & said that she feels like she is in college again because for the first time in years she can drink beer.

I get home on Tuesday night at 5:30PM ..... at 6:30PM Annette, JoJo and I get in the car to drive to New Bern, NC. We arrive in New Bern at 1:30AM and stay at the worst Days Inn there is. I wished that I had Lisa's number and had brought Bobby but I really did not have any time. :sad1: The next morning I am a pallbearer for a retired Officer. The funeral is finished at 1PM and we head back to Baltimore. We have been home only about two hours now.

No relief in sight ..... :scared:

Brack!!!! You stayed at the worst hotel in the state!!! :sad2: I wish that we had known that you were here yesterday. :grouphug:

I am.... Back to work next week, oh where is that sad smile!! Oh well ....
I am pain free, in fact I sit and wait for the pain to come. It has been since April since I have not been in pain and I almost forgot what it felt like. I am afraid it won't last!!

John actually wants me to start working around the house, can you believe that???? I mean really... I know I have been doing nothing since..... Christmas but why start now????

That is fantastic news, Amy! :goodvibes :cool1: :goodvibes

Hey Carla,

Got my new airport express 802-11n . . . still trying to figure out how to access the hard disks though . . . not enough time!

One cool thing though. BOTH printers I have on the USB hub are now accessible.

Have you seen the Heroes cheerleader on the Disney Channel singing the new Cinderella song?

LOL! We have seen that MANY times since it is at the end of the DVD. The kids get dressed up to dance to it...Kaitlyn in her gown and William wears the royal robe/cape. :)

Saturday is Lisa's birthday - wonder what she is going to do.

The only thing that will probably happen here this weekend is a drive to JAX to pick up the rest of the windows for the house that Mike ordered. Going there means that we have to drive past CEC...which means that we will probably end up going there. :sad2: I am just glad that Mike is going to be home late tonight. He has been in TX. Maybe they can take me out to dinner. :)

I guess that I am talking to myself today. This hasn't turned out anything like it was planned. William has had a rash on his thighs for a few weeks then didn't say anything. Last night he was upset in the shower so I went in & helped him finish up quickly. He said that his legs burned. The rash was red & there were red lines going down his leg. I was going go make an appointment for him after school but this morning he woke up with a sore throat and wouldn't eat because it hurt too much...usually means strep for him. Doctor cleared him...no fever...and he went to school at 9:20. At 12 I got a call from the nurse that he wasn't feeling well, didn't have a fever but looked terrible to her. I got him & picked up a couple things to help with his rash along with an Rx. He rested on the couch and after an hour told me that he felt hot & funny. He had a 100.4 temp. I am expecting to get a call in the morning that the culture came back positive. I have to renew my license tomorrow since it expires Saturday. :( I was heading out the door to do that when I got the call from the school.

Oh, the good thing about this morning's appointment is that DS came up with an idea for his project for the invention convention this year. :) He is going to invent a new test for strep. A lollipop that comes in different flavors with a stick that has a chemical that can detect the virus. Suck on the pop for 5 minutes and if you have strep, the tip of the stick turns red. If you don't have it it turns blue. ;)

Did he get a bug bite or something? That streaky rash reminds me of a spider bite or something... and it could cause the fever too, no?

That is what I was thinking too Joy. Lisa I hope you get that checked out soon.

Well DS's bed was delivered today and it is all set up for him with his new Cars sheets/blankets. We also took DS's old bed and got it set up for DD in her room with all her new princess stuff. They should be home soon and I can't wait to see their reactions.

Also DS did fairly well today but unfortunately it was a classmates birthday and the Mom brought in cupcakes for the kids which of course DS could not eat. Apparently he did pretty good but they said it made him a little sad. He got to eat his raisins instead.

The daycare has been getting ingredient lists for us from their food suppliers so we can start determining what DS can and cannot eat there. So far the vast majority of foods are off limits to him.
