Marielle, when you want to go on an Alaska Cruise, count us in. Alaska was DH favorite ports of all time! I really think your DH would love it. Dog Sledding, Hiking Glaciers, Mountain Biking through the wilderness, Deep Sea Fishing. It is a DH kind of place!

We also would love to do an Alaskan cruise someday but it is another one of those things were I want the kids to be a bit older. I am thinking that Allie should probably be at least 6 before we go so we are looking at probably no earlier than 2011-2012 before we do one as a family.

We're going to do a couple days at WDW beforehand... probably just MK and MGM... oh who am I kidding... it will turn into a full blown week, I'm sure....

I doubt we will be able to add any WDW time onto our trip because of work and school. We will have to get our WDW time this upcoming November.

Angie, the PC is just too expensive with all the add ons after the cruise fare. Mike & I have been talking about the possibility of moving the money from the 12/8 to that one. Of course this morning I am feeling like I don't even want to go on that cruise. I really miss the comradaree and trust that exists with this group. That just isn't there and I am not enjoying the feeling of being stabbed in the back and not being able to do anything about it.

What happened? Who stabbed you in the back?

I am hiding in the bedroom because I am afraid the kids will try to jump all over me and Ouch that hurts! I got some sleep last night and I am not in too much pain right now unless I move.

OK maybe it it just the pain and the meds but I clicked on the August repo thread and saw all this talk about Give Nothing Back and pirates, etc.. It makes me sad because all of that stuff used to be unique to this group and now it does not seen so special now that "outsiders" (for lack of a better term) have taken it up for themselves. How pathetic am I?

Our Repo thread is mostly California people talking about the drink of the day, and BBC (another drink, not the British network). Mostly seem like nice folks.

I agree, John1. They seem nice, anxious to set up meets and get to know everyone. Several have already cruised together, but they still seem eager to welcome and meet others.

Becka, you have to remember that Captain Jack started that thread and although we all believe that he only belongs to us, he is Capt Jack no matter what cruise he is on.

Aww, Becka. Sometimes I feel small and pathetic about that, too. But, hey, they can try to have fun, too! Everyone deserves the chance to enjoy their thread as much as we have enjoyed ours... it doesn't diminish our experience. Right??? Right???? RIGHT????

That's right! Those fun things were a part of who we are, but the real difference in this group and others I have been a part of - and really had fun with - is the relationships we formed. We fully intend to show up at your house (Becka's too) and many others when we are traveling!
