Is this correct? You Vegas people, have any of you driven from Vegas to Glendale, AZ oR Phoenix?


I can get cheaper flights to Vegas than AZ for the game.

Yesterday was the 6th grade school dance for DD. I went to help out. I forgot that I have chronic migranes and they might play the music kind of loud. YIKES!

I am in the final stages of packing frenzy!!!! We leave tomorrow!!! My excitement is almost at it's peak!!!! I actually slept fairly well last night....no guarantees on tonight!!!!

I am sorry that I have not been around much. I have been tying up about 100 loose ends!!!!

We are having some serious cold weather!!!! Tomorrow it will be even colder. Our local weather guy said "Cold spell dipping deep into the south. There may be record lows in Fl." WHAAAA...WHAT!!!!! I am going there...keep this cold stuff up north!!!!

This morning I am sweeping and scrubbing the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, and running the vaccuum. Then I am heading for my mani and pedi. I hope Becka didn't have to cancel her appt. After that, final packing. I have choir tonight.

I still have lots of work to do and I came here to peek when I ran across this one. Thanks for the focus. I did go through DD's clothes and in the process refolded her dresser drawers (I've been meaning to do that since summer ended). Now back to work and then more items re packing.


What to do other than PACK PACK PACK. I need to get to the post office to get one of those forms about being away etc. I am sure there are many other things. We leave Friday at 7A.

Check online for this usps.com. Ours allows us to fill out the hold mail form online. Beats going down to the post office.

I really really really can't wait to meet all of you! I told my DH last night that I had a strange wave of sadness...I told him that I will miss all of the planning, chatting, and general goodtimes we had over the last year...or more!

V - what's up with the COLD weather on Friday??? I didn't want to bring coats, but I may have to!

Carla - kendell has started with an occasional cough and is very whiney - sure signs - but what to do? i know the dr won't do anything since he's not sick (yet).

Brandi - this was supposed to be my 'relaxed' last day - but i seem to be a day behind?? I still have a long list of things to do, I may be up late and rushing frantically in the morning. And Becka had to cancel last I heard.

Ok - 1 load in wash, 1 to go - dave finally picked out his clothes last night after I asked again (bought him a 2nd swimsuit yesterday) - make shirts (iron ons printed), cut out signs (and organize by room), pack above items and misc items and toiletry items, vacuum if time (cleaned pottys last night), pay bills, get docs in order....why am I on the computer!?!?!?! Will try to check in later - have a good day everyone!!!!

I think we are leaving around 7:30 am tomorrow. Not sure which park. I am leaning towards AK, I really want to see the new show. And then maybe I will try and call the resort around noon or one and see if we can check in.
