good morning all. I am beat. I was up until midnight trying to book airfare. I guess I should wait until we actually have tickets in hand. I was all excited as I logged in to cash in miles and it appeared the trip was going to be $15....come to find out all they have left is first class which is double the miles. double!!

The flights are a bit outrageous.

gOODBYE, gOODBYE, gOOD fRIENDS gOODBYE!

Well, the boys are at school ,Dh and I just got home from our Monday Breakfast out. DH has printed the boarding passes, and found out our flight changed considerably. Originally it was:
Laving Buffalo 6:10am arriving in Atlanta at 8:21am,
leaving for Atlanta at 10:09am and arriving in Orlando at 11:38am.
Now it is:
Leaving Buffalo 6:25am avrriving in Atlanta at 8:38am,
leaving for Atlanta at 9:15am and arriving in Orlando at 10:42am.
That's great that we are getting to the world an hour earlier, but we only have a 25 minute layover...so cross all crossables that we will not be delayed in Buffalo. Off to finish the last minuite packing! We're picking up the boys at 11:15am at school, home for lunch and AWAY WE GO!

See you all soon!

i used to have another name on here, a few years back. When I went to sign on with my old name, it had been disabled or something (or maybe I didn't have it right) so I just started a new one. hence the low post numbers :badpc:

Since my DH is such a goofy guy, I just became his gal. Besides, everyone KNOWS Goofy is the power behind the Mouse, eh? :lmao:

Becky in FL

Hi, Becky. What was your name before? Were you on the cruise board before?

hmmm never gave my DD a goodie bag or basket... Perhaps i must get a bad parent award... DD has always considered it gift enough to go on the boat with us.

Although DD usually gets a new sweatshirt for our trips in the winter. She's asked about one for this trip...(Shhhh i got her a TINk one) but with as tight as our budget is right now she's going to have to wait until x-mas to get it. (She does have plenty to take now though)

Well we didn't do anything our first cruise. The second they wanted to get goodies for John's DD. The third I fixed goodies for all three of them. Honestly, they aren't a big deal. Lots of princess stuff from clearance & dollar tree but you would think that they hit the lottery. :) Tink gifts were done last year to ward off the I WANTs in the shops & ended up costing alot less that way. ;) They also went to the room willingly when it got late because they couldn't wait to see what Tink had left them. The pins...well, I bought a bunch on DS.com for 2-3 each so they could try out trading on the second cruise & they got hooked. I spend $30 on each before the cruise & usually don't have to buy them any pins in the shops. :thumbsup2 It helps me to spread the spending out over the year so I am not in as much shock when the Visa bill comes.

Oh no! now I need to clean the house and bake a cake!

I just hung up with our building rep who has a very northern accent and thought of something.

I am really looking forward to hearing your voices and accents. Right now you all sound the same in my head but I'll bet that isn't really true in real life.

Those of you who have met before have already jumped this bump I'm sure, but I'm looking forward to all the chatter.

Carla, you are a trip & a half girl!!!! I just jumped when I opened the card that you sent and now I can't stop laughing! :lmao:

We used to think no one lived in DE because all the license plates on the highway are from other states...

What part of FL are you in? The winter weather will sure be nicer. Now summer will be downright brutal though... and the bugs and the snakes and the gators.... YIKES...

The boo's are in your signature...You click on user cp (top left) then along the left side of the screen hit edit signature. If you delete the text parts that begin with
they should all go away if you want them to....

Some of us (not me though) have a Kissmass mickey/minnie that has taken boo's place.

:wave2:

I was able to remove my Boo's

We are in a little town called Lake Alfred, just 25 minutes SW of WDW, near Lakeland and Winter Haven. I hope to start working at WDW in January. I hate retirement. We are 46 and it's just too young; we've been retired for 3 moths and it feels like 30 years.

We've had the house for 1.5 years and have spent much summertime here. See, we have an older farmhouse in DE and it doesn't have AC. Dh wanted to keep it as original as possible :confused3

We figure we'll be more comfortable here in the summer with AC than we were there in the summer with no AC. It's all perspective and what you're used to, I guess.

This is our first cruise and I am excited; Dh is apprehensive. It's sort of a marker between the old stressed life and the new less stressed doing-what-we-love life.

I had the Rasul booked for us, but he said he wouldn't pay $83 to get muddy when he could just take me to a local mud bog and throw me off the back of a pickup truck for free. He's a peach. :-) So i cancelled.

We have Palo for 6:30 Wednesday and he is parasailing at CC at 10:30 on Sunday. Other than that, we are relaxing on the ship.

I looked for a bag at Ritz and they were expensive! The little backpack one was $70. Even the sales guy thought it was high and had gorren it cheaper. :rotfl:

Those backpacks are super expensive. I think DH bought the $80 one but now we have to return it and get one that was even more expensive than that because it's the only one that will hold all his lenses. :sad2:

The kids know that things they get from now on in will be part of their Christmas present. At least Sarah and Amanda. I told them I will wrap them if they want. :teeth:
