I need to go take some meds. I hope it is just allergies but I am starting to feel some sinus pressure and my ears feel funny. I hope Brandi didn't send her stuffy ears this direction in exchange for the snowstorm.

My left ear is stuffy again!!!! It is making me crazy!!! Either that or the drugs...something is making me crazy!!!!

I woke up to arguing at 7:30. DH went to the store. I brought all of the folded clothes & shoes downstairs.

I FOUND THE MICKEY GLOVES!!!!

I packed them with all the just cruise stuff like the over the door shoe holder. I also found the kid's stockings in that box!!! I had been going crazy trying to find them too.

I am putting a box together for my mom and dad. They will be taking care of the dogs, coal stoker, mail, fish, house...you name it. They are even taking us and picking us up at the airport. Anyway, they will get an envelope or package for each day and I am doing it to the tune of 12 days of christmas. I still need 3 days...any ideas????

Here is what I have so far. (the knock at the door and delivery are each flower deliveries) Each day will be put into a seperate card so that they don't know what they are getting for the other days...does this make sense??? Anyway, I still need 3 ideas!


On the first day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me 2 dogs and a furnace to tend.

On the second day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me 2 sudoku puzzles.

On the third day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me a certificate for dinner.

On the fourth day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me hot chocolate with marshmallows.

On the fifth day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me a delivery to the back door.

On the sixth day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me a special card from Jacob.

On the seventh day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me hot coffee and donuts.

On the eighth day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me a treat from Eliza

On the ninth day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me a knock at the back door.

On the tenth day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me

On the eleventh day of Vacation the Kline’s left for me a few Disney Dollars

On the twelfth of Vacation the Kline’s left for me

Cantata went really well. The kids will be wonderful tomorrow!!! I am always so proud of them!!! I have so much to do today. My kids are still with my DH. I thought I would catch up here before they get home!!!

Look how happy those shoes make her!!! She seriously loves shoes. We must always put our shoes away because she will just carry them around and put them in her mouth (yuck!)

Now I am trying to decide how to pack this stuff. We will be driving down Tuesday so need 4 days worth of clothes in one bag. The cruise stuff goes seperately. I usually put the stuff seperate for after the cruise but with only 2 days I am thinking of packing it with the cruise stuff. That way I don't have to pack extra cool weather stuff in case we need it on the ship. I haven't made a final decision yet though.

Whew.....kudos's to all the worker's at the car wash. I am beat. I just cleaned out, vacuumed and washed the Explorer.....the wash job is probably not the greatest but is all I am going to do at the moment.

Hope not! Brenda left this week & Joy left this morning. Jill said that she was packed in chat last night.

We're all packed too, but we are leaving on Monday afternoon.
I really feel a weird sense of disappointment though...so much excitement and work-up to this point.

I can't believe how long it is taking for you to get plowed out!!!

Well I think they have the main big roads done by now but they were slowed down by the power of the storm and then when they got out to start clearing there were abandoned cars everywhere so they have said that really slowed them down. Last I saw they have all the primary routes plowed and they are now working on the secondary roads. I expect they will start on residential roads by tomorrow morning. I think they said our town has 17 plows or something like that but we are a pretty decent sized town of 100,000 so it will take a while...that is a lot of road to clear of 14-16 inches of snow.

I did call the Little Gym place and the birthday party had been cancelled so that is one less thing for me to worry about! They think it will be rescheduled for the 17th and if it is we will not be able to make it because we will be driving back.

Our Kroger has started carrying gift cards to fast food/sandwich shops and other places. How about lunch out?

I'm thinking more upscale than McDonalds. More like Jersey Mikes or Quiznos.

Brandi - You are just too cute with your days of Christmas. I dont have the brain cells left to be creative!

I got DD down for a nap, convince DS to at least have "quiet time" in his room (so he can go outside and play in the snow after nap), picked up the living room and vacuumed. I still have plenty to do but I think I am going to take a bit of a break and watch last weeks DH(W) that I missed when I was sick!
