I still have lots of work to do and I came here to peek when I ran across this one. Thanks for the focus. I did go through DD's clothes and in the process refolded her dresser drawers (I've been meaning to do that since summer ended). Now back to work and then more items re packing.


What to do other than PACK PACK PACK. I need to get to the post office to get one of those forms about being away etc. I am sure there are many other things. We leave Friday at 7A.

Because I am a planning geek, I was looking up the customs info:

Ummmm, so on an official document, we will have to list "lime green leis, decks of cards, smiley stuff, stocking, pirate trinkets, pencils, keychains, etc." Value: Priceless.

I've been "unpacking"... going through my suitcases and trying to take out stuff I don't really think will be worn. It's so hard to make that decision and I only removed about 4 items, but hey it's something, right?

Better then me! i kept adding things. I'll be adding more too as I buy more. You would thunk I was done since I left the house already.

Our stateroom has changed again.

It looks like we will get to join the ranks of streaking children on deck 6. Actually we have had at least 3 different room numbers today. No telling what will happen tomorrow. At last inspection we were in 6050.

Everybody who can check! I'll bet a lot of upgrades have come through!

If you can't find us on the ship we'll be the ones wandering from door to door trying the room key to see if it works. I just hope our luggage, tux, stateroom decorations, and UPS shipment find us.

You got an upgrade?? If you did, CONGRATS!!

DH has a work dinner, so he's eating well. 2 kids got grilled cheese (because that's how much bread and cheese was left). We're practically scavenging for food because I'm trying to avoid buying anything that won't be used before we leave. There's no OJ and no milk and no diet soda (our addiction) so I will have to break down tonight and get a few things.

Oh crud! I was going to prepare Dina's lunch before I left so DH didn't have to. I'll have to give him a call first thing, but there isn't anything in the house to make a sandwich with!

We're having steak, baked potatoes and peas....with some ice cream at the end.

DW isn't home yet (not until 8:30 so I become chef again tonight) .

I haven't had a good steak in awhile. Palo here I come!

So, this morning I get up super early (4:45) to finish work items and get a jump on my day - what happens..DD has that croupy sounding cough - needs water, needs allergy meds (forced hot air stinks with allergies and its 22 degrees out so the heat is cranking). Then she "can't sleep". I explain that I work in my home office late at night and early in the morning to help me not have to work in the middle of the evening when she is home and she is now cutting into that time by wanting to have a conversation . 'Love her dearly but isn't that always the way?! She conned me into going in my room. Hey what do I care DH is sleeping - she can go lay sideways on him in my absence

I'm too excited to sleep! I woke up at 5:00 and can't get back.

Caroline I hope you got some rest. It is cold today in the south, Atlanta's low is going to be around 30. I am actually wearing my really heavy coat to work.

Did I mention the heater at work is broken? If I didn't have wrap up stuff to do I'd just cut out and go home.
