DH got a job as the CAO/Clerk of the Township of Pelee which is on Pelee Island. Some of the people here from Ohio might know it. You can get a ferry from Sandusky to Pelee. Very small island....about 200 residents

I don't think I fessed up. I know Lisa hates the Rad and I didn't need to hear the cheerio story again. Our presnikety friend Lamarr loves it so that's where DH wants to go. Also, after an 8-10 hour drive DH won't be ready for a hotel full of crazy DIS people. So I'm giving him some elbow room.

Actually up until now I've had two reservations. One in Orlando and one in at the Rad. We are only just now deciding which one to use.

I know how to work my man.

Cheerios??? What I hate about the Rad is the shuttle. There are quite a few of you at the Rad though.

I CAN OFFICIALLY PARTY!!!! I DID MY LAST ASSIGNMENT FOR MY MASTERS DEGREE. I AM DONE DONE DONE DONE!!!!!

I started my Masters program in 2000. I had 24 credits by 2003 when my DS was born. I did 3 credits over the summer and now I finished my last 3 credits and will have a degree.

Thank you all for letting me be excited and not judging me!! You are the best!!!!!

Brandi- congrats. I give you all the credit and admiration in the world. I did my masters when I was single and had free time on myhand. I cannot even imagine what that would be like with a family.

Time to celebrate.

Nope! I have had it before, so we just watch carefully and take them out lickity split. No long term problems. It really is cake to take care of, I just wish they would not use Black Stitches.

I'm glad you stay on top of it. DH has to go to the dermatologist every 6 months now- or sooner if he has any suspicious moles, growths, etc. I'd never given skin cancer much thought before he started having problems.

I also have a friend who was only 24 when they found skin cancer on her nose. She had to have radiation on it though.

On that note- Everyone have enough sunblock packed?

Yep! But Joy and the Morks started it.... It's 11 today so we are getting quite the warm front.

Ok someone said they would tell me the secrets of rebooking an already booked trip. We have already paid $1000 of the $2100 for next year's cruise. As of right now, the cruise price has dropped $80, so rebookin would work well( %10 discount and room credit), but does the orginial $1000 just get moved or does it get refunded to CC and I put a new deposit down? This will factor into my spending plans.

When we did this in 12/04 we had a reservation already. The price had gone up so with the 10% it was the same as what we paid BUT we would get the 200 credit. Donna said that we would lose early seating if we rebooked it so left it as it was and manually added the stateroom credit to our account. I would give the person the cruise you want. When they call you with a price, give them your resie info & tell them that you would like to transfer the reservation to get the credit.

In case you guys don't realize it that white line on the door is the actual snow line at our door. The snow is THAT high! Poor Allie would be buried outside. We have easily over a foot with drifts 2+ feet from the wind. Kim - is this what Utah is like?

Yep! Happens all the time in the mountains. Not so much in the valleys and cities. And you have way more snow than we do right now!

Let me guess. There is too much snow plowing to do, so Mommy and Daddy are staying HOME! Also, warning here, there may not be enough places to put the snow. When we have a huge one like 24 inches in 24 hours, the problem is not plowing, it's where you put it.

Looks like Becka got a lot, but I am sure they will have roads opened back up soon. You should see business in the store when we get a forecast like that! I have never seen roads closed for more than 8 hours or so, but everyone thinks they will be snowbound for a week!

BTW - strong winds here, and we lost shingles off the roof.

Kim - I do hope you know I'm trying to make you laugh....I do hope this doesn't sound insensitive!!!! But you do know how warped we all are. I wasn't warped prior to my participation on this thread....but someone turned me this way...

You can always wear a ski mask...then they will be scared of you instead of staring at you!!

You know, not a bad idea! Then I can growl and really get a laugh out of it! I am actually much better today. Sorry with the med talk again, but anesthetic makes me weepy. I am much more in control today.
