I was thinking semi-formal but I have a black velvet dress I can wear that night. I can wear mine on a general evening. Let me know when she wants to wear it. When I tried it on I said to the lady...am I too old for this dress. She laughed and said no way. I hope Devin isn't bummed that an "old lady" is wearing her dress. I know how touchy teens can be!

ok double twin...Her other dress is a strapless black velour dress...

Anyway, i'll see which night she's wanting to wear it.... (So fickle at that age)

LOL! I think that I have created a monster!!! DD has put the Christmas stickers on the outside of the envelopes to mail along with the return label. She has also put the return labels on the inside of the DIS cards.

Yesterday when I went out on errands she dusted downstairs (as well as a 6 yo can ), made her bed & ours, & attempted to straighten up her room. Of course the chances of being successful with that were slim since I had her possible cruise clothes on the floor & bed. Today when I came in from getting us lunch she was sweeping the kitchen floor. Pretty good job too!

I am tired of running low on paper to print. DD keeps taking it to draw on even thoughI bought her packs of drawing paper. UGH!!! Anyhow, Staples has a case for $31.19 after coupon & ebates rebates delivered to my door. Is that good? I have never bought more than one pack at a time. ???

Okay, well today I think I broke all of the commandments of shopping and now I'm suffering for it.

1. Never never try on fitted dresses during PMS sorry guys I didn't know what else to call it That little (figure of speech) ol' size that you hate being in in the first place goes up when you are bloated. Also when the heck did I get kankles..or something pretty darn close to it. Those cute little flirty shoes just didn't cut it either as they cut into said kankles or what is pretty close to them. I think that's up there with that back stuff.

2. Never try on flirty little shoes when it has been way too long since you had a pedi. Having a guy as the salesperson made it worse. Can dry heel skin rip a ped?

Just a side observation - Why do all of the size 0 teens looking for some winter soiree all seem to come out at the same time you are cursing trying to reach the zipper in the dress.

3. Solo dress trying on is great so no one can see you sink to the lows of lows but it sure helps to have someone to zip up the dresses. #3 is - it is impossible to turn the dress around so the back zip is in the front and spin it around (ala a bra - KWIM). First of all the zip won't go up all the way due to the you know - those things that shall not be named are problematic on a good day but PMS - OY and then you still have the same issue trying to twist it back around half zipped just pathetic

Basically I could go on and on and on. Hours later it took me way to long to accomplish this shopping task so I cursed myself and left to head home calling DH for a consoling voice to say sign me up to the gym and he replied "Uhm it's 1 minutes to the end of the game the Patriots are leading..." Yeah, that's when I said the heck with it and went to the Wendy's drive thru. I rarely even eat fastfood but there was no Starbucks around.


Okay - so that was my day. I still have a lot of work work to do vs. cruise work. I have all of that as well. DH started his packing and that would be a whole other post.

I have two words for ya....DITTO HERE!!!!!


I sooo wanted to lose weight but being a stress eater with this new job....OMG!!! I think I've gained like 20 more pounds on top of the 30 I really had to lose. Very bad. Typically you can jus chalk it up to - hey these are strangers and I'll never see them again. But I don't feel like you guys are strangers and I just might get to see you guys again if we plan our cruises right. Oh well...i'll be the phat lady in lime green!!

My mom loves her bluetooth. I do notice that there's alot of static on my end if she wanders away from the phone itself.

I got a motorola headset on black friday for 9.99 after $20 rebate from radio shack....

Now i just have to remember to send it in.....

That would be fun...but we are going with a huge group from our church!!! This Wednesday is free Hershey Park ticket night. Every person who goes to the Hockey Game gets a free park pass! The youth group (and lots of others) go from our church. Then the youth group goes for their free day together at the park.

Oh I understand...your church friends wouldn't understand about meeting up with an internet friend...
