No kidding!! When I drove DD to school this morning the temperature was 34!!!! Came home and watched the news and they said there's a freeze warning for tonight. Living in the desert all my life I'm not used to cold. And the wind - UGH!

Oh my! Maybe this 80 degree weather will hold until next week.

Three hours later and have I packed anything? Of course not! Why you may ask? Well let me tell you. I took the two tubs of DH's winter clothes upstairs to get them out of the family room where they have been for the past 2 weeks so that DH wont be annoyed about them being there tonight when he gets home. I made the bed & went to put a sweatshirt away on the shelf in the closet. However...said shelf was pretty rocky so I checked it and NONE of the clips on the back wall had any shelf in them. OY! I took everything off the shelf & the rod underneath and finally after several attempts and a few choice words the shelf was in the clips. :cool1: I figured that I would just hang up the cooler clothes & leave the summer stuff on the bed to go thru for packing later on. Could I do that? Of course not! Every single long sleeved shirt that I picked up was terribly wrinkled. :furious: So, instead of ironing the shirts in the tubs later on, I ended up ironing the ones in the closet to begin with...along with folding up the summer stuff I wont be packing & putting that in the tubs.

I have stopped for lunch and am far enough along with this task to plan on going into DS's room when I go back upstairs. UGH!!! The kids go to the dentist at 3:30 so I can't work all afternoon. :sad2:

Wow Lisa what a chore! After that will you please come over and clean my DD's closet? Then teach her how to hang clothes properly. I've been working on her for 9 years and she still doesn't get it.

I got desperate and had DU see if my documents had been mailed. They were sent UPS on 11/22 and according to the tracking number they are scheduled to be delivered TODAY!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Is this weird?

Vacation Information
Itinerary: 7-Night Caribbean Cruise to Costa Maya
December 9-16, 2006
Ship Accommodation: Stateroom #: 8074
Category 06: Deluxe Stateroom w/ Verandah
Dinner: Second Dinner Seating
Vacation Protection: Declined to Purchase Vacation Insurance

Not at all! The category remains what you originally booked. When they look at it they can see where you were. I think that it makes it easier to see so that IF they have to downgrade you, you don't go below what you booked originally. Yes, that does happen. TChrist who was on our 12/04 cruise was upgraded & when he checked in at the port he had been moved down a category from the upgrade. It was still an upgrade, just not as much of one. I was on pins & needles last year until we actually got our KTTW cards in hand knowing that it could happen.

you know, I find it incredible that there is only one 3 left. On 9/7 there were at least 4 and I highly doubt they would be booked this close to the cruise. I bet some people were upgraded to 3's.

The comments have more to do with Disney than cruising Patsy.

To a lot of the people I know, Disney is just a "kid" thing, something you are either supposed to grow out of, or stop doing after you do it once with your kids.

That's one of the reasons why I appreciate the Morks and Brack so much. I want to grow up and be like Dennis and Brack.

The eye doc asked me this morning about DCL. He has two kids (ages 8 & 6) and has been thinking about going sometime. After I babbled on.....and on.......and on.....about the glories of cruising with Disney, he had this look on his face like "sorry I asked". :lmao:

Six-year-old Angie and her four-year-old brother, Joel , were sitting together in church.

Joel giggled, sang, and talked out loud.

Finally, his big sister had had enough.

"You're not supposed to talk out loud in church."

"Why? Who's going to stop me?" Joel asked.

Angie pointed to the back of the church and said,

"See those two men standing by the door?

They're hushers."

A little boy was overheard praying:
"Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it.

I'm having a real good time like I am."

A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said, "Would you like to say the blessing?"

"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.

"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife answered.

The daughter bowed her head and said,

"Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"

A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin 5, and Ryan 3. The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake. Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson.

"If Jesus were sitting here, He would say, 'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'

Kevin turned to his younger brother and said,

" Ryan , you be Jesus !"
