I would say maritime law is an issue when YOU are doing this on your own, without letting GS know. As Lisa said, you aren't first and if they can, tGS will accomodate you and make sure safety if met first...I'm gonna start asking for Maritime law references soon...

Exactly! :thumbsup2 It's not like you booked the room for 4 people and put little Dina in a suitcase & lugged her aboard trying to get 5 people in your room. Did you consider that? :confused3 :lmao:

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

I hope everyone travels safely today. :goodvibes

Yeah, the worst accident I could have is slipping on the hardwood floor as I am walking in my BerneseMtDog slippers from the dining room table to the couch for the scheduled Post-Thanksgiving Dinner collapse....

I meant....well you know what I mean....I see know that I shouldn't have tried to delve into the workings of the DISer mind. It goes much deeper than any normal person should be expected to go...they have institutions with whole wards for people who have tried...and failed. :sad2:

It sure seems that you are moving closer and closer to being qualified as one of US DISers. :rotfl2:

So do you think it was the same person who came back for all of them? They probably wondered when we would hit bottom. LOL.

Ahh....your Toybox Runneth Over....

My brother came over to our house a few years back and saw all of the toys we had for Devon and he says, "How many Kids do you HAVE?" :confused3

I saw people in various areas of the terminal and then it started to get bizarre.
STARTED to get bizarre? It was a DISdream right? You sure you weren't awake?

DH and this guy decided to go somewhere to look at cameras and then they decided to have a contest blindfolded of taking a camera a part and putting it back together. I don't know who these people were but the woman was a supermodel looking type and the daughter was as well. All the time I am thinking if we miss the sail away I'll kill these people.
Weird huh.

So, did he get the camera back together?? And what happened with the supermodels? :confused3

It's my free Price Chopper turkey - John do you give turkeys? I figure it's going full circle.

I love the smell of roasting turkey - although pulling the frozen neck out at 5:30am could make me swear off eating it for a while. ;)

The neck, sounds like fun...I was cleaning out the sink drains at ....11:30. It makes me want to swear off ....cleaning out the drains...for a while.

hubby woke me up going potty so I got up to put the bird in. Why do you have to leave that plastic leg noose in there? Doesn't it melt in the oven?
We have only done breasts for so many years that I haven't seen this before.

We are bringing our bird to the community building - they have a town wide dinner - for anyone who is alone, poor, or just likes to eat with a crowd.
Woodstock has a lot of elderly people. The dinner is free - all contributions - volunteers cook the turkeys etc.

Then we go to MIL for our turkey dinner.
Elaine that is a wonderful thing you do.

I was literally gagging while taking the neck and plastic bag out. I just pitch it and make my DH take it outside to the garbage immediately!!!! I can't stand that stuff!!!!!

Kristina - my turkey's neck was pretty much frozen to the inside - sometimes you just can't separate it. I had to run some cool water in there to break it off. gross right!!! I didn't find the giblets bag - apparently I was looking in the wrong end. DUH. glad I discovered this while drying the turkey. Usually it's all there together.
The last few I had they were in different ends....again...gross!!!!

When I was little i used to beg my mom to let me take the neck and other parts outs, I loved it. I would carry that stuff around and torment my sisters. I really think I was meant to be a DR or nurse or something.....

I am currently thankful that you were not my sister!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The house is clean, the tables are set, the bird is baking, potatoes are pealed, onion casserole ready to be baked, broccoli ready to cook. I am now taking a few min. to relax!!! It is especially nice right now because Eliza is asleep and Jake is quietly playing. DH is sleeping on the couch. This place will become a mad house by 5:00!!!! I hope you are all enjoying the day.

Does DH ever wake up?
Does he see my instructions on fridge?
Does he even care i'm not home?
Does he flip out?
Does Kristina hurt herself at gym?
Does he run to Denny's for dinner instead?

The bird has left the oven!....it is just chillin' out right now so whether the neck will make an appearance, who knows...mashed taters are awaiting transfer from pot to serving dish...french onion green bean casserole stuff is in the oven now, cranberry (gelatinous version) has been SLICED (yes sliced) and the stuffing is in pre-nuke mode. Gravy is ready to be heated for serving. The table had been cleared...yes we clear the table BEFORE we eat....the placemats have been found. Dogs are on standby for any stray food items to be thankful for...

The meal will be served in T-15 minutes.... :woohoo:

I hope everyone has a wonderful dinner and a great day with their " family" and/or family.

Pj
