I'm assuming WDW will be selling cute Disney Santa Hats but can anyone confirm this for me? I got some at Disneyland once but I'd rather buy new ones this trip.

Caroline, we wear them to board the ship & at the sailaway party. There are lots of great picture opps onboard. There will be a giant Christmas tree in the atrium. Also, snowmen & sleigh with snowblower on the pier at CC.

Sophia isn't home for Thanksgiving??? Are they driving to VA?

Sophia and MIL are going to Amy's sister's in Toledo. Just Amy, Alex and me for Thanksgiving. They kept wanting to do this for several years, but I always wanted Sophia at home because my folks are getting older. Since they cannot come here due to my mom's health (and Sophia won't go over to their house - long story) I gave in this year. They are going to see Beauty and the Beast in Toledo too.

We wear our Santa Hats on the sailaway, but I must admit, they are HOT! Sweat up a storm with those on. There is a reason why Santa wore them at the North Pole!

We also wear them to MVMCP.

I forgot to tell you that I actually tried making a packing list. Didn't really work. I probably already lost it. Plus everyone keeps trying to make it longer...

Maybe I will have a chance to pick some up and give them to the girls at the hotel. I'll have to see what happens. I'm a fly by the edge of my seat kinda gal!

Next year have Thanksgiving at your house and make them smoke outside, even if it's -30 below and snowing. I used to smoke (dirty little secret) and would not smoke in front of people that could not breath for goodness sake.

Yeah, Amy should tell the WHOLE story . . .

I told her when we started dating, it was either king nicotene or me. I could not, and still cannot be around smoke. She made the right choice( ). Then at some point she started cheating on me with Mr. Nicotene, and the reason she did not smoke around people who could not breathe is because the people would have gotten very angry!

I saw the clues though, and sniffed it out. FINALLY, when she was pregnant with Sophia she gave it up for good!

Thank goodness - we need her around!

I thought it was a mechanism to hold them captive. I thought the wire was needed when all other normal non-metal objects just could not do the job.
