I had to go to WM yesterday for ariel birthday invites, which they did not have, and picked up a few things, went to check out and the lines were so long I put my basket down and left.

That being said, and John PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR THIS! On thursday, all of the items WM has on sale for thier 6 a.m. super rush thing with the great prices will be available online. I am not sure of the times available online, but the circular will come out today with all info. Just trying to save you all a few bucks and help you sleep in on FRIDAY. I heard this on a financial show on the radio of all places!

That's OK Kim . . .

I really only wish people did not buy their groceries there . . .

I'm not caught up yet but thought that I would fill you in on our day here. After Church DD kept begging DH to put the tree up. He took it out around 3. It gave him a bit of trouble so even though I swore it off, I ended up helping to get it set up then spread out the branches so that they could decorate it. I am staying away from that....without the meds I would be going . I am very picky about my tree. Before the kids it was gold, burgundy, and crystal. There were balls on all of the greens around the house too so it all matched. I even have pillows and curtains in Christmas fabric. The glass balls aren't spaced out so forget about spacing with each color. The kids are both very happy about it though so I will try very hard to leave it alone. I did draw the line with the fragile ornaments for the family. I will put them at the top some time this week.

Oh Lisa, I so relate! I had perfect everything then DD started to help and I would get so frustrated! It only took me 5 years to realize that with the exception of those heirloom ornaments, it really didn't matter. It wasn't about everything being perfect and symetrical. And don't even ask me how much it cost to learn that little tidbit.

I ok, finally caught up. The conference was ok, but a lot of talking and sitting.

On the way home, i thought I would just check out the DS and see what was on sale. Randy and Jane, the managers were on stage. We got to talking, Jane asked if I had been on any cruises lately? I said leaving in two weeks, lol.
They both asked if they could come, I said two empty beds in my room.
Randy said I should work with them.
I replied, not going there Randy. I have applied 6 times for part-time, full-time and seasonal, nothing!
Randy, handed me a application, said fill it out and we will do your paperwork tonight, for a per diem position, later evenings setting out stock and doing mark-down and such. The deal is, if they call you and you can't work three times, you are off the list, thats cool.

Then we got to talking as he signed me up as an employee, (woohoo) he asked my salary at the Computer store and if I would be interested in being a lead, that he would talk to HR and see if they could meet my current salary. I said I might be interested, but let's see how it goes first. We sat backstage and talked for about an hour. I go in for training on Thursday.

Pj

Cool PJ!

:thumbsup2

ok you guys who sent a virus to our house......

My tummy is not feeling well at all today.....

Adding this to the pain from my wrist issues i've been having and i think i'm dying...(or maybe just falling apart)

It hurts just to do the laundry but i can't let that stop. I need to get through it all before the cruise.

Maybe it's just stress.... (Maybe i shouldn't have stopped taking my happy pills)

um... no happy pills? I always look to my DH to see if I am acting like a lunatic. Andy could probably tell you if you needed just one of those... Of course if I am on steriods, like today, he just walks away.

ooh ooh Todd, I think you should start this again on the main board. It is so much more fun watching this group join in now.... Just kidding, we don't want to give Lisa any more work than she already has.

Hi John1!
I didn't get to see the "battle for last place" so I have only read the news reports. (Philly-Tenn on CBS here) If I were in your shoes I would not be happy, so I guess you have nothing to report.

Well Marielle . . . we won the battle for last place . . .

Up 20-10 with nine minutes to go, winning the whole game, 3 turnovers from P-Burgh, and we gave it away in those last nine minutes . . . lost 24-20. Two straight touchdowns to P-Burgh and lots of penalties on us to help them out.

Weather was dog gone ugly! 38 degrees, wind, and rain. We bought ponchos and wore them like tents, keeping us as dry as we could. I was a bit cold at the end, and my face is red-wind burned.

Of course we had the usual bunch of idiots at the game - on both sides . . . who decide that this rivalry is personal and requires insults, fighting, and throwing beer on the opposing team's fans . . . :sad2:

I did have a good time being with DS though.

Just a friendly PSA.....

Bigger isn't necessarily better. Now that the ailrines have been cracking down on the 50 Lb rule... When i use my largest suitcase, It's really tough keeping the weight under 50. I mean it fits so much....

This is why i think we might need 8 suitcases instead of 6....

Duly warned . . . (of course Becka is driving)

Yeah, but Airtran only allows 2 suitcases each - additional you have to pay for. I am really wondering on weight, because we used to carry on all our toiletries, and now with the ban on liquids they will all have to be packed! We bought a couple of extra medium sized bags last week, so we will see how it goes.

That is the great thing about driving! You don't have to worry about how much each bag weighs. :thumbsup2

Yeah, until your DH tries to pick one up!

Our tree is for our kids. I told Amy that after the first child was growing up, and we did one of those "designer" type trees our first year of marriage. However the ornaments land on the tree, they are beautiful. My only regret is that we do not go out anymore and cut down the tree, and we have a pre-lit white lights one now. I used to love the old big colored lights.

No museum trees when you have kids!

Who do you think does the packing of the bags...then the car? :rolleyes1 If I can get it to the door then I can lug it to the car & push it in the back.

Minor pirate: coming up.

I bet Marielle is lurking.

John1

A couple more tries, then Balloon Lagoon.
