Hi Kim! :rolleyes1

Hi Andy. Just think about how much I have learned about the armadillo. I would know none of this if you had not posted. Some day, I just know DD will be assigned the Armadillo as a project and I am right on top of that.

Just wait for all of those stories that you'll hear about on the Banana-eating Africanized Three-Toed Sloth... :rolleyes1

Thought you'd like this info from University of Missouri Extension
http://muextension.missouri.edu/explore/hesguide/foodnut/gh1504.htm

An excerpt:
The store wrap on purchased meats is not meant for long-term freezer storage. Meat frozen in store wrap will suffer freezer burn in a few weeks. This means that air dries the meat and causes loss of flavor. Rewrap or overwrap purchased meats that will be kept frozen longer than two weeks.
Becka, this does NOT apply to your butcher wrapped cow. He is fine just like he is.

Okay Ipod Geeks, I need a recommendation.

I have a Nano, but eventually i will probably get a video ipod.

I need a ripper -- something to get the music from my nano back onto my new laptop (originally the music loaded onto my old laptop).

Eventually I'll probably want to rip video to the video ipod.

What's the best thing to download/buy so I can take care of current and future needs?

Thanks!

I went ahead and was able to make a hair appointment for the 29th so I guess I am going to at least get a few inches cut off. I am also going to do some more highlights. I love that look but I have not done it in a long time. Hopefully I will like it because there will not be time to “fix” anything before we leave.

I was reading over on the CB (I know - how dare I! ;) ) the annual Santa wrap vs. unwrap debate. Santa never wrapped presents for us as a kid but all of the gifts from family were wrapped. So many people say that it would not be any fun to have Santa gifts unwrapped but I think it is more fun. It is so exciting to see all that stuff laid out and I love seeing each year what my kids go for first. Sometimes they surprise me! This year I think Nathan will go for his big Power Ranger Megazord and I think Allie will go for the doll and stroller.

The only time Santa wrapped anything was when Nathan was 2. We went to see Santa and he had some big empty presents wrapped under his tree and Nathan really liked the purple ones so he told Santa he wanted “purple presents”. Santa had a very hard time finding purple paper but he did manage to get two purple presents into Nathan’s stash! ;)

Does your Santa wrap?

Also for only the ladies (highlight to read below)...

WARNING MEN! I am not kidding here you really don't want to read this information. You may think I am just trying to give you a hard time but you really will be sorry if you read this. Just pretend you never saw this post! It will be far too much TMI for any of you to handle.

All of this stress has actually pushed back that TOM so while I thought I would have to deal with all of that during the cruise it now looks like I won't after all. I am soooooo happy. It was really bumming me out!

Ok, if you think that kind of a warning will keep me away, think again . . .

So who is this Tom, and where was he pushed back to? Why was this a problem? And if it was a problem, believe me, we are more relieved than you!

:rolleyes1

Just checked for the first time today, and over 40 pages behind . . . I am going to join Kim in seeing who can get the farthest behind - OY!

We are all going for haircuts the week of the 27th. I will touch up my roots some time that week as well. Having been prematurely gray since I was a teenager, I am a home box/bottle kinda gal... saves me money for my next vacation!

Well he did until last year...we got Samantha the Disney Castle and we put it all together and set it all up in her playroom and we decided not to wrap any more for Santa gifts!
As a kid santa wrapped, even my Barbie Dream House!

Santa does not wrap in our house. The kids usually get one big Santa present and several smaller ones from us, plus tons of stuff from family.

It's 1/2 and 1/2 here. Our presents to each other are wrapped and under the tree by Christmas Eve. Santa's wraps most of his, but some things are not.

Becka - I got an appointment (and am on cancellation waitlist) with the girl that cut my hair 3 wks ago - I figure another 10 days growth will be better than trying to cut it now. Anyway, was going for cut/color on 1st...now I'll cut on 28th and color on 1st. I'm feeling good about my decision.

I think you will be glad to get a little cut off (less to wash on vacation!) and I always love highlights!! Glad you took the plunge...

And, V, yours has plenty of time to grow a little back - up the vitamins!! Good preventative meds for the cruise anyway!!
