Hope you all slow down this weekend so I can catch up... was busy at work today... then got home, was going to take DS to the optometrist, and DH fell down the stairs, tumbling and landing on his hand... so we hopped in the car and went to emergency instead. He's got it in a fiberglass splint... will have to wait a few days to see if he tore the ligament or just sprained it. He is so bummed because he's scheduled to golf on the Magnolia (or is it the Palm) course on the 7th.... he and his friend Keith have been salivating for this opportunity to golf world-class all year....

Ouch! I hope he gets better really quickly.

We also have wooden stairs and almost all hardwood floors. I have gone down the stairs out of control before and had some ugly bruises (but at least that's all!)

I was trying to run up our stairs in socks my senior year in high school and gave down them hard. I hit both my shins on the edge of the stairs and had some nasty bone bruises. It is a miracle nothing broke. I was on crutches in the winter here in Missouri with both my legs injured. That worked well...

Leaving Wed afternoon to drive (kids have a half-day of school). Since we're pulling them out for the cruise, I'm not taking them out more for Tgiving.
Probably will take 10 hours (more if there's traffic, but we're not on I-95, so that's good!) so we won't arrive until close to midnight.

I will be thinking about you while we do a long drive too! We are leaving after work on Wednesday evening. I hope to be on the road by 5 and we have a 7 hour drive ourselves. It will be 1 AM before we get to Little Rock.

Actually that is what I did. I made them pancakes.

DS is going to drive me crazy until I finish decorating the tree. Then we have to get the lights on the outside of the house while DD takes her nap. I have to do some major grocery shopping. Plus tonight I have to get the crusts made for 3 apple pies that I have to cook on Tuesday night. And apparently I also need to squeeze time in to go shopping for another present for my sister and BIL.

Not to mention the cruise packing that needs to get done this weekend. All of that and DH will not be around tomorrow afternoon because this is his game Sunday.

Plus I have to start packing for our Thanksgiving trip and I need to find time to wrap the presents for my family.

I am also really behind with the laundry and the kids rooms need to be cleaned up.

This may be the only real DIS time I have. I don't want to get up and get started because I may not be able to come back for a while.

My DW is now popping some small bags of popcorn for "Happy Feet". The theater popcorn is not WW friendly.
