EVERYTHING has an explosion factor with the right microwave setting....oh, wrong subject.

yes we discovered that when Jaea put one of her Fisher Price toys in there and set the microwave on fire. Christmas eve 2003. Hubby's watch. Then she crawled under a blanket for several hours and wouldn't come out. She's still afraid of anything involving fire - although she forces herself to toast marshmallows.

Vanessa - that was too funny about the cheese cloth.

Whenever I buy vegetables they never know what they are and can't find them on the price chart. It's kind of funny.

I just have to share - I put 3 different boxes of stuffed animals down at the end of our driveway. One was also filled with un-needed, unopened McDonalds "gifts". They all disappeared - I just wish they wouldn't take the box. YIPPEE.

Of course as the kids were waiting for the K bus they found several dearly loved babies they couldn't part with - so they are back in the house.
Does anyone want to take my children while we finish unloading all their toys?
I made them promise to find an equal number of other stuffed animals we could get rid of.

So do you think it was the same person who came back for all of them? They probably wondered when we would hit bottom. LOL.

Ahh it'll have to stay in there....

Happy Thanksgivings all! Safe travels!

I came on to say that I have started to dream about you all and the trip. It started with waiting at the upgrade desk (described by John in an earlier post) with Lisa ahead of me (you got your upgrade Lisa) and my turn came up a cat 1 was available - yes I could have it no problem for an additional $14,000. - Thanks but no. I saw people in various areas of the terminal and then it started to get bizarre. We went off to another dock (why did we do that ???) driving in a rental car. DH and this guy decided to go somewhere to look at cameras and then they decided to have a contest blindfolded of taking a camera a part and putting it back together. I don't know who these people were but the woman was a supermodel looking type and the daughter was as well. All the time I am thinking if we miss the sail away I'll kill these people.
Weird huh.

hubby woke me up going potty so I got up to put the bird in. Why do you have to leave that plastic leg noose in there? Doesn't it melt in the oven?
We have only done breasts for so many years that I haven't seen this before.

We are bringing our bird to the community building - they have a town wide dinner - for anyone who is alone, poor, or just likes to eat with a crowd.
Woodstock has a lot of elderly people. The dinner is free - all contributions - volunteers cook the turkeys etc.

Then we go to MIL for our turkey dinner.

I like that idea Elaine! What a sweet thing to do.

What a wonderful feeling I woke up with. Dinner is not at my house and I can actually relax as can the kids! They are watching the parade without me bugging them every few minutes to clean something else. I just have to make mashed potatoes later in the afternoon.

It's my free Price Chopper turkey - John do you give turkeys? I figure it's going full circle.

I love the smell of roasting turkey - although pulling the frozen neck out at 5:30am could make me swear off eating it for a while.

Kristina - my turkey's neck was pretty much frozen to the inside - sometimes you just can't separate it. I had to run some cool water in there to break it off. gross right!!! I didn't find the giblets bag - apparently I was looking in the wrong end. DUH. glad I discovered this while drying the turkey. Usually it's all there together.
