Wouldn't John know?? Or is he on the board for a different district? :confused3

I seriously doubt that they would think about giving Sophia a hard time since it would have to go before the board if there was a problem. ;) You are definitely not unconcerned parents who need to be reviewed by SS.

And you said I had bad math...

Not bad math just more clothing coordination issues... ;) I apparently thought Nathan could wear a dress or something.... :sad2:

We have always had a mumbo-jumbo type tree growing up...a little bit of this, a little bit of that. I do remember helping decorate at the neighbors and HATING putting on their tinsel. It had to be one strand at a time. We always loved to blow it on the tree. :Pinkbounc

Funny thing though, I never put tinsel on the tree now. I'll have to make sure I get some this year. And now the majority of ornaments are Disney. I did have a tree, pre-family, one year that had all purple decorations on it...

ramble,ramble,ramble...

Hmmmm....there is a package of silver tinsel in the garage boxes. I've never put it up. I'll have to ask DH if he wants to do that with the kids.

Might as well share the email jokes also... I hope this doesn't offend anyone...

Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties. She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all. One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.

As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water, and in the water floated, of all things, a condom! When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.

The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and He could no longer resist. "Miss Beatrice", he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?", pointing to the bowl.

"Oh, yes," she replied, "Isn't it wonderful? I was walking through the Park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease. Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter?"

what rotations is our late group - I figured it was all the same.

although I would rather have PAL.

elaine

I don't think there's a PAL rotation. I think there's LAP, PLA and APL... I believe late dining is linked for the APL rotation.

OK, morning update. :) I have gotten the living room cleared up, am close to being finished with the DIS stockings, have worked on laundry, returned shelves to Target & exchanged a shirt there too, and decorated a bit. DH must have what I did last week. He is starting to feel better and has been working on his laptop all day.

So, PJ, I'm not skilled in problems with shipping to Canada. Is it a huge problem? Lots of paperwork or something? Slow or way too expensive?
I have an REI nearby.. but not sure if it could get to you on time since you're heading out of town early.

Marielle, you could ship it to us. We will see PJ on 12/6 and can give it to her then. We are driving so no problem fitting it somewhere.

The nerve of all of these kids growing! Mine keep doing it even though I insist that they stop! They really need to start minding their mother. ;)

It really is sad. At least you get to see some of the same outfits a couple more times. :thumbsup2 The good thing is that these are the holiday dresses that I have bought at 75% at Target. I pick up whatever is there at that point. DD is going to wear one Easter dress this time that I bought 3 years ago. I was shocked that it fits her now!!! It was HUGE when I bought it for her. :(

DrHug got some little speakers for my new IPod and I think he has the music set on random or something. We were hearing a WIDE variety of music last night while DISing and one that came on was LaVida Mickey. We had to dance! :thumbsup2

So you have laid official claim to it?!?! :lmao:

I am watching Mr. Holland's Opus and bailing my eyes out. I love teachers whose goal is to enrich the student instead of getting through the day.

Pj

I love that movie! I had a band director who told me that the whole movie he kept thinking about me. I am a red headed clarinet player and he said that character in the movie really reminded him of me.

We have consignment shops, but they don't pay you until the stuff has sold. I really have never tried them because it seems like too much hassle...th eonly ones to go would be from Dina and I do have people to pass them down to. They don't really take much in toys.

Caroline, Would your girls be interested in a couple LTD TOO sweatshirts?

DD has outgrown them and i know two of them have only been worn once or twice.....

Two are White with pink letters and are kinda medium weight. The other two are heavier. One is teal. One is Purple.

8?? Wow! For the five of us I was thinking we would get away with about 4, with maybe 1 carry-on. But I haven't started packing yet.

Um....that is less than I pack for the 4 of us. :teeth:

My DH is only 31 but he acts like a 13 year old...is he too old to wear shorts to dinner? :lmao:

I am proud of myself! This morning I packed up the decoration boxes and took out the things that had been missed. I did hang up a few balls & ornaments on the top part of the tree that was barren but I didn't do it orderly & I didn't change anything that the kids hung. Balls are falling off and breaking since I didn't hang them and pinch the hooks closed around the branches but that isn't going to hurt anything as long as I pick up the pieces before someone steps on them. Thinking about this last night I realized that this is just another bad anal habit that I picked up from my birthmother. :sad2: This year is the start of something new here! :cheer2:

Don't we all have our little quirks?! This morning I was puting away clothes for the girls. I have left their closets and drawers alone for quite some time now. But I couldn't stand it any longer.

I hang their clothes on different colored hangers, say pink for long sleeve, white for short sleeve, blue for dresses.

Plus I had to go through the drawers and refold. :sad2: I am a closet neat freak! Only things that people can't see anyways.

Becka - I have a package of Finding Nemo Little Swimmers (12 pack), sized for 16-26 lbs. Want me to pack 'em for you or is that too small for her?

Thanks for looking Missy but I bet they would be too small on her. She weights about 24 pounds right now and I usually try to buy the next size up.

I do appreciate you taking the time to look though! :)

Okay Becka - my DSs will take care of your DD at the firedrill and they will counsel your DS on bathroom etiquette. Believe me....they know how and where to aim...they fear the rath of mom!!!

Can you teach me this rath thing? ;) Apparently my rath is too wimpy for my kids...

There are no DCL autograph books. Just the same ones that they have in the park. Major missed opportunity for DCL to make more $$$ IMO.

Definately a missed opportunity! I would have to get three! :thumbsup2
I am going to look through their books and see if I can find something like Angie's. Was it a small book Angie?
