We wanted to give it a try last night, but was just DrHug and I, then I pooped out on him.

I'm too busy playing Christmas music to play any Disney stuff but I have been saying to my DW "just think where we'll be in three weeks".

Yeah, I dug out my xmas music CD's....ripping them to MP3 now..DW said, "oh no, not those already..."

Listening to Kenny Rogers, "The Gift", right now...my favorite. It is not a country album if thats what you think.

Now, the John Denver CD I have t, lets say, very redneck..."Please Daddy (Don't Get Drunk This Christmas)"

Yes, like a true addict, I got up early and scurried to see what is happening on the DIS!

For the last several years we have had 3 or more Christmas trees. These range from a small one (3ft) that rotates to a 9ft very skinny one. A couple of years ago we even hung one from the ceiling (a German tradition). This year it will be just one.

Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties. She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all. One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.

As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water, and in the water floated, of all things, a condom! When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.

The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and He could no longer resist. "Miss Beatrice", he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?", pointing to the bowl.

"Oh, yes," she replied, "Isn't it wonderful? I was walking through the Park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease. Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter?"

but we are wearing lime during the day and changing for dinner. Just too hot/sweaty and stuff to stay in the same outfit all day/evening long.

We are changing. The Morkerts will not be wearing t-****s to dinner!

Oh I LOVE Kenny Rogers!

If you do and like xmas music, I highly recommend this CD. It came out in 1996. My favorite song on there is "Mary, Did You Know". Its a duet with Wynonna.
