Yep, no cabin number yet, its a category 12 gty. I don't know why I put more stress on myself. My second dress fitting is tomorrow and I still don't have everything yet. Worse, we havent event purchased invites or reserved the hall for our party when we get back. I just wish it was over. Did everyone fell like this so close to thier wedding? Poor Paul, it gets yelled at every day.

I was just looking at my sisters reservation though and she finally received a cabin number. It could change though.

Our category 10 is the exact same price that it was on DCL when we booked it. Thank goodness we saved 1000 by booking thru DU....those were the days. The category 12 is only 21xx but we would probably only save a couple hundred with the group booking.

I just checked for 10s & 12s & they were GTY only. Better chance for upgrades! The 8s only had 4 rooms showing up.

Lisa, would the group booking still apply? If you "down" graded? I have a group booking also...

But as far as the cranberry sauce debate... I have never ever tasted cranberry sauce. Which seems odd to me since I LOVE everything else cranberry. I suppose it just looks weird to me in all forms that I have never tried it.

No, DW isn't home yet so it won't get opened until then. She's on the warpath about something so she can handle that when she finally gets home.

OK, here's one for ya....

DD13 comes home and tells me that a boy in her English class threatened to "slit her throat" if she didn't shut up. She went to the office and they had her file an incident report. They told her they would probably talk to the kid's parents.....ok, and when were WE going to get a report that this happened? DD says, oh, they didn't give me a copy of the report.

They asked her what he said and if he was joking...now, what does it matter if it was a joke. If a kid says, I'm going to "blow up the school", would they say, oh, you're just joking HA HA. NO, they would be calling police, parents, etc...they take that serious!

Threats are considered assault by school regulation...classic case, the school doesn't want to bring too much attention to a situation. Sweep it under the rug.

When we switched our June cruise to this one we were getting $1500. refunded. I asked if we could have it turned into a stateroom credit and we were told no, that the money needed to be refunded to us. I didn't understand why but that's what they told us.

That does not make sense. You could then just send it back and have them put it on for credit. Maybe it has to do with their accounting or something.

I vote jelled stuff in a can but I can concede that there are other varieties of cranberry sauce. I just don't like anything but the canned stuff.

We've only used the canned jelled stuff here. Never tried real stuff made fresh, so I have nothing to compare. However, since I don't like the stuff anyway I am certainly not going to add to my TG stress by trying to make fresh stuff. DrHug will just have to deal with the jelled.
