If you put just a touch of water, it will steam them. Bury them in water and they get boiled. ;)

BTW on my iPod is Something So Good by Point of Grace! :thumbsup2

Prior to children Jason and I both LOVED Epcot and the thrill rides of MGM. Now we love Magic Kindom cuz of the kids! MGM is my least favorite with the kids. I love them all for a different reasons...here is our current park plan:

Thurs 12/7 - MVMCP at Magic Kingdom
Fri. 12/8 - Animal Kindom in AM then we want to go to the Disney outlets and spend the evening in Downtown Disney...making sure we get to bed early enough so we can get to the port
Sat - Friday - CRUISE
Sat 12/16 - Epcot after disembarcation - Dinner at Le Cellier
Sun 12/17 - Magic Kingdom - Dinner at Liberty Tree
Mon 12/18 - AM in Animal Kindom (unless we did enough pre crusie then that is up in the air) Dinner at Spoodles and Evening-night at MGM.
Tues 12/19 - Go Home!!!!

That sounds like so much fun. I guess I didn't realize that you were going to the parks after the cruise. It is going to be hard to be down there and not go to the parks. I hope the cruise is worth it! :goodvibes

Oh, Becka!

I went to WDW for the very first time when I was 2, I remember nothing. Have some pretty funny pictures of 1976 Disney. But when I went back at 25, with my DM after grandma passed on and she told us to do something that would make us happy after she had gone, Wow! That was in June 2000 for DM birthday, We went back in Jan 01, then December 01 w/ DNc, then May 02 for the first cruise a three day (way too short!), we then had a long dry spell until Jan 04 for our first 7 day cruise. That is when we found the DIS and DVC, lol, need i say anymore.

I get you totally!

January 01 was cold and December (xmas day) was 33 and rainy, but we were on Main St for the Xmas day parade.

I forgot how much I like my Goo Goo Dolls CD. I am enjoying "Broadway" Do any of you guys have "Dizzy up the Girl?" I love this ipod. It is the best!!!

I like the Goo Goo Dolls but I have never really loved them enough to buy much of the music. I think I have one or two songs downloaded.

Currently I am listening to Twilight by Vanessa Carlton.

Next song.... Stupid Girls by Pink. This song gets me :rotfl:! :)

HP - about 4 months old so I'm hoping that it might be built better to withstand these mishaps. It was an almost full glass of diet pepsi... and I didn't notice right away :( There was probably a good 10-15 seconds... my back was turned. My swivel desk chair actually knocked over the cup, as I turned around in my seat. Ugh. I usually don't even keep my glass where it was... it was just too much flukey stuff.

I wonder if I can get some good $$ on ebay for parts... the screen is gorgeous and still brand new!

I did that once with a beer on hubby's company laptop. He decided to tell them that it was water but the smell was so bad they were laughing at him - LOL. That keyboard was totally fried.

He didn't get that mad about it - I was surprised.

I loved your 1st WDW story! It doesn't matter how old you are when you ride "Dumbo" by yourself! :goodvibes Your story gave me warm fuzzies!

I have not told you guys about my first time have I? ;) I always loved Disney and everything Disney and of course as a kid there was no place I wanted to go more than WDW or Disneyland and I wanted my own Dumbo ride just like in the commercials. Unfortunately my parents did not have the money and since Dad was in the Army and we moved all over the place we always spent our vacation visiting family back in Arkansas. When I was 11 my Dad got orders to go to Hawaii and since we were leaving out of LA my parents were going to take a few days and take us to Disneyland. I was so excited. Of course a few weeks later the orders were changed and we were going to Naples, Italy and leaving from Philadelphia. I was one crushed 11 year old.

Of course it was not long after DH ran me over with his bike that he learned about my desire to go to WDW. He jokingly told me within a month or so of dating that if we ever got married he would take me to WDW. When we got married we looked at WDW for our honeymoon but we were poor and it was a bad time. About 2 years later I was looking at taking a trip to the mountains in TN for a long weekend when DH suggested that I start looking into that WDW trip! I was so EXCITED!!!! We booked our trip for December 1999 and it was our "honeymoon" even though we had been married two years already.

DH was not overly excited at first and he thought my planning was kind of crazy but he knew it was a big deal to me. I was actually shaking at the airport before we got on the plane because I was so excited and he would just laugh at me. He was going for me and he really didn't think he would like it. By the end of our first day DH was the one saying We have got to come back!!! I knew I loved him for a reason!!!! :lovestruc I even got my Dumbo ride. I rode by myself and DH got it all on video! It is hilarious. I had the biggest grin plastered on my face and I didn't even care what others thought about a 23 year old riding Dumbo by herself. For that one ride I was that little girl who always wanted that ride. It kind of makes me get weepy even thinking about it. I am such a sap!!!

:grouphug: My first time was also the kid's first time three 11/03. :wizard: I remember walking down main street and realizing that the castle was real and not a plywood prop that was just held up by posts. :sad2: I had tears in my eyes & was just as excited as the kids...if not more so. :cloud9: When I grew up that is what I was told by miss knowitall along with the fact that it was over priced. It was alot cheaper back then than it is now!

PJ - that is exactly what I was doing all weekend. And now they are sitting on my table. Too funny!!!

I think it peaked DH interest b/c he actually said, "you'll have to fill me in on those people"

He asked how we would know each other...I explained the sea of green and he immediately asked, "What about those non-DIs families who just wanted to wear green to find each other in a crowd?" We both burst out laughing.

Well if they are not cool enough to find us then they deserve to be confused, right? :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

So how many buttons did I end up with? ;)

Last night, DW and I were gathering laundry from the dryer and DD came down and said she was looking for clothes for school today....we told her there was nothing there for her and she said, "Oh well...I guess I'll go naked."

I looked at DW and said, "Oh well, Deck 6. "

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
